A family friendly home

The house is clean and super accessible. Plenty of space for all of us and the back yard made it nice for our kids and dog to play. Great option!

This was our 11th annual “Army Family” get together. We stayed at this property 5 years ago. The upgrades you all have done were very nice! The only thing I had a problem with was the WiFi Although the password was on the wall. It was case sensitive and the first letter was suppose to be capital. And it didn’t show it as capital it took us a sec because we are old. Lol! It’s a great property. We will stay again!

Clean and basic with convenient access to Warren Dunes.

We were looking for basic accommodations with easy access to Warren Dunes and this place did fit the bill. Place was clean and appeared recently renovated. Make sure you are comfortable with the location before booking. It is close to a busy road and right off the expressway.

House was in okay condition had a weird musty odor much like an unused lake house upon entry. We were very disappointed that there was not in fact any coffee for the drip coffee maker which was mentioned in the listing when I reached out to the property owner regarding it it was ignored. Also the refrigerator water filter does not work and the refrigerator was not making ice. The front door does not lock from the outside that is not described in the listing at all and it took us about a half hour to figure out how to lock the door to get out of the house. There was dog doody in the yard which I stepped in in my brand new 140 orthopedic sandals. The steps out of the back door of the house are in very poor condition the boards are coming up and the steps move when you walk on them very dangerous and especially considering it's the only way you can actually get out of the house with the front door locked makes it even worse. And the final real insult is that to stay at this house you're going to pay 80 plus dollars a day for cleaning but when you get your check-in instructions it tells you that you better clean the heck out of that house before you leave or they're going to charge you more money. They also make you pay the damage waiver whether you like it or not.
Back stairs are highly unsafe I have a video to prove just how shaky and dangerous they are but can only post pictures.
You're going to pay a bunch of money for them to clean their place but when you get to the outside the chairs are going to be gross dirty moldy
When we got there someone had clearly violated the air conditioning unit prior to our stay which makes me wonder when the last time they cleaned it was

The house is updated inside and out.

There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. Very clean and tidy. You can walk to brewery and restaurant. The location is off the highway among some businesses.

Like a Suite at Cheap Motel

Upon searching, the home appeared clean which it was, but very dated and smelled like an old house covered in new updates from a cheap hotel across the street, including the old style bedspreads. Although it is close to the beach, we felt it wasn't in a very safe area. A truck stop right next door and $$ store. Although they say you can have a dog, which they charge an extra $40.00/night for, the yard isn't completely fenced and the part that is fenced is bobwired, also giving you an insecure feeling of where you are! We had paid for 3 nights and only stayed 2. We also found mouse droppings in and around the kitchen sink. We do "home aways" quite often and this by far was the least favorite!! Sorry to say.

We showed up to the house @ 11pm(check in is 3pm), and put our code into the keyless entry just to find out it wouldn't work. We called the guest contact and told him our trouble. He said that he would be right over to help us. 30 minutes later a guest contact showed up and told us that they thought our reservation started the next day and we could not use the house that night because it hadn't been cleaned. They blamed the reservation company for the mistake and said that they thought our reservation was for one night rather than two, even though our confirmation papers showed we had made and paid for two nights. We were told we could stay across the street at the Super 8 and the house would be ready for us at noon the next day. The owner did not meet their contractual obligations. We made alternate accommodations since the owner did not meet the contract. We have asked for a refund and have not yet received it.
