Great spot minutes from downtown Newport. The house is well kept with a nice patio off the kitchen. The 2 bedrooms were very comfortable and a good fit for a family of 4.

This house is in a great neighborhood, quiet and not far from Newport. A quick Uber ride takes you into town or, if you’re up for a walk, you can find your way by foot and get to see the sights. This is worth a stay and makes a great retreat from the busyness of life.

Favorite VRBO in Newport

This is our second year staying at this property. It is so comfortable and clean--absolutely lovely! We love the spaciousness of the property including the deck area. The owner is quick to respond to any questions. It is also convenient to the beaches and restaurants in the area. Can't wait to come back next year!

A Newport Gem!

This adorable home is in an excellent location, especially anyone attending a Navy graduation or wanting to be just (drivable) minutes away from beautiful downtown. The beds were very comfortable, and the sheets were so soft! The kitchen is stocked (we didn’t cook, but good to know for anyone who wants to), and the family room and kitchen area are very cozy. The owner has excellent communication and the neighbors are very friendly! So glad I found this VRBO!

Cozy and convenient

We enjoyed having the kitchen and living space. Location was great, an easy drive into Newport. Queen bed was a little uncomfortable and bathroom a bit small for our family of four, but we managed. Would stay here again.

only small complaint was internet/tv - we were both on our computors and a little slow- overall we will be back for sure! uber was quick to newport every night and back-

Sweet Newport cottage

Perfect. Easy in and out of Newport and all it has to offer. Chill breakfast at home with grocery store right across the way. Full days in Newport touring and walking. Back after dinner to relax and rejuvenate for the next day.

Summer Oasis

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! We stayed in the first floor apartment and found it to be quite comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. Even though there is an apartment above this unit, we did not really hear any noise from upstairs at all. The host is quick to respond to any questions that arise. We enjoyed it so much that we are hoping to stay again!

Great place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. It’s listed as an apartment and that was confusing. When we arrived we learned that there was an apartment upstairs that enters through outside stairs around back of the house. There is also a studio apartment in the basement. Overall our stay was enjoyable and being in a middle floor apartment there was no bothersome noises.

Newport, R.I. access with all of the suburban conveniences...

We enjoyed the cape style house, and appreciated the details that made it feel like a comfortable getaway. The check-in process was very straightforward. The online listing of the property was totally accurate as it is listed as a two bedroom apartment on the first floor, near the Navy Base and close to Newport The pictures online represent the property very well. In addition to what is shown in the pictures, there is also a well-maintained, flat, fenced backyard. Between activities, we had fun playing badminton and having a catch in the yard. The location worked perfectly for us as we were able to enjoy Newport, Jamestown, and Middletown. We did everything from playing tennis, to kayaking, to visiting breweries. The proximity to Newport allowed us to explore and do lots of activities everyday. The street itself is a little busy, but within a 10 minute (or less) drive, you can be at the beach or in downtown Newport! It is a suburban area, with sidewalks in the neighborhood. We brought our bikes and were able to bike around the neighborhood and explore a bit. At the far end of the street there is a main road with lots of stores. My husband drove most of the time, so he navigated crossing this road to go toward Newport. If I were driving, I would have probably found a little easier way to cross this main road, as it’s definitely a little tricky to make the left and quick right to cross this area. We rented the first floor apartment. There are also separate upstairs and downstairs apartments. The property is arranged in such a way that each apartment has a separate entrance. The house is quite spacious and well laid out. We would recommend this property to others and would rent again. Everything was convenient, comfortable and enjoyable!

We just enjoyed our third year at this VRBO. It is very comfortable and homey! It is also very convenient to all that this area has to offer. The hosts are wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We have stayed in many VRBOs in Newport/Middletown and this is by far our favorite.

Cute little New England stay

This property is situated perfectly in Newport. We were in town foe our sons graduation from OCS at New Port Naval training. We were minites from the base and from the warf area. The house was perfect for the three of us. This is a great house for a weekend or extended stay.

What a beautiful place!
