Nice place, smaller and noisier than appears
Nice, clean home with a nicely sized bathroom! Living and kitchen areas are sufficient for 2-3 people, but will start to feel crowded with more. The house is on a busy street and vehicle noise woke me up starting around 7am every day. 20ish minute walk down to the main drag, but the house is located in an area that doesn’t have anything in the immediate vicinity of food or shops. Industrial feel to the neighborhood.

Cute place
Convenient getting in & out of Newport. Very clean...did nice job updating the inside. Only negative was the Roku tv.
This was perfect for a lower-cost housing option for a busy wedding weekend in Newport. It is on a busy road and next to a gas station, but as a heavy sleeper, no complaints. It was a quaint space that the property owner made cozy and inviting. We were greeted by snacks and all of the essential amenities. We would recommend and would return if in the area again.

Nice place/bad location
Place was very clean, nicely updated, and many thoughtful touches. It is on a very busy highway with tons of traffic with a gas station on one side and a run down house on the other. The traffic noise lasted way into the night and the house sits right up to the road.
Don’t expect to open windows . There are trucks for antique store and construction trucks kicking up dirt in your driveway. Little ac’s in a couple of windows. Not clean as stated. Location is next to gas station and antique delivery driveway. We did not stay and they are refusing to refund full amount. In fact only about one eighth. Not our fault . Also tv screen and washer and dryer were dirty.
Perfect for what we needed it for! Cute little place! Only complaint would be from my husband who is 6’3” as he hit his head on the doorways. Very easy parking and so close to downtown Newport!
Although the property is not in the heart of the town it is a short uber ride to the shops and restaurants. Hosts were wonderful and the property was spotless and equipped with all the nessessities needed. Going back in the spring.

Lovely House with Convenient Location
The house was so nicely decorated and many of the items seemed to be brand new. We enjoyed the convenient location near the highway for taking day trips but we also only had to walk or ride our bikes about 1 mile to be on Bowen's Wharf! Fantastic! Other reviews mentioned traffic noise but it did not bother us as we had the air conditioning fans running. The laundry was also a bonus, and so clean and convenient.
Small place but well equipped. Beds were comfy. Was am easy walk into town and there is a great English breakfast place across the street. Enjoyed our stay.
Clean. Cute enough. A good place to sleep and the location is close to town.
It’s a cinder block house. Next to a gas station. The decor is just nice enough to make it a bit cute, but it’s not a house you want to spend a ton of time in. There’s a coldness/hardness to the interior. It’s bot at all cozy and welcoming. The photos make it seem cuter and cozier than it is.
The mattress covers are plastic and crinkle when you move around. It’s pretty noisy at night as there is no sound insulation.
But again, as a place to sleep and be near town, it’s a decent spot. We stayed in a high demand weekend, so I can say the price was worth it. But it’s well maintained and super clean. There’s a cute breakfast spot across the street.
Awesome spot a mile from downtown Newport (walkable & bike able!)
Very friendly owner and attentive with communication! I would come back here and stay again.
