The Adorable Apartment in Montrose is in a beautiful historic neighborhood with great restaurants and local bars that are within walking distance of the apartment. This is your very own garage apartment with off-street parking! Welcome Home....

The Adorable Apartment in Montrose has been completely renovated! We have a new kitchen which boast new granite countertops, appliances and cabinets. The living area has new hardwood (laminate) flooring, lighting fixtures and a Flat screen TV with cable for your enjoyment. I have just purchased a Black Leather couch/futon (Serta) if you would need another bed/futon for another guest. It can be positioned in different ways and has a USB port built-into the base of the couch, very comfortable so now we can sleep 3 people. We have just added hardwood (laminate) flooring in the Bedroom also, which also has another flat screen TV. The new Bathroom has a beautiful vanity with a medicine cabinet, plush towels and a Rain Shower! I also provide shampoo, conditioner to make your stay more comfortable.

This adorable garage apartment is located in the historical Audubon Place in Montrose (behind a gorgeous 1928 home), privacy is stellar. It is within walking distance to most cafes, bars, public transit and shopping areas, Krogers and Walgreens are 3 blocks away, the museums are within 1.3 miles! Houston is a fabulous place to visit and we are also not even 2 miles from the fantastic Medical Center Houston, which has the best hospitals in the world!

The rental price includes, free Wi-Fi, Queen size leather bed, off-street parking, cable TV in both the living area and the bedroom, 2 New Flat Screen TV's in the Living Room and NOW in the Bedroom, there is also a 160 sf patio for enjoying the outdoors! The apartment is well appointed, leather couch, glass dining set, new appliances and hardwood floors. The apartment now has a new Mitsubishi mini-split for the AC & Heat, plus a ceiling fan in both the Living Room and the Bedroom! The bathroom has a Rain Shower (no tub).

There is also a full size washer/dryer for use in the garage below with all the necessary washing detergent, etc. We have just purchased 2 Schwinn cruising bicycles, these will be available for you to tour around our great little area.

I also provide continental breakfast items upon your arrival, water, condiments, fruit, muffins, eggs, juice and coffee or tea for you to enjoy during your stay in the apartment.

We have had numerous requests if we allow pets? The Amenities page states that we do NOT accept pets? We have a lot of patients that visit the Medical Center (MD Anderson Cancer Center) for treatments and our apartment needs to remain a pet free zone on their behalf! If you kennel your dog or cat at a pet hotel close by we would love to have you stay with us! There are numerous wonderful pet hotels in the Montrose area!

Come and enjoy the hospitality of a historic Texas home, with very nice hosts. You will be happy that you stayed here and we will welcome you back year after year!

You will also have an outside balcony that you can enjoy the outdoors with also having Wi-Fi available you can enjoy the outside and do some work if needed.

We love to meet you at check-in and make you comfortable but after that you can have all the privacy you need!

25 mins by car from George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Free parking on the premises, no oversized vehicles are allowed to park behind our home.

Great place

This was a perfect place for our 5 week stay in Houston. It is within walking distance to restaurants, churches, coffee shops and the area is quiet and great for walking. Our hosts were great, helpful and friendly and easy to work with. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied. On site parking and laundry facilities were a definite plus. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it for short or extended stays.

Nice, clean, and comfortable apartment to come and rest up after scooting around houston and surrounding cities! Hosts (Denice and Jack) are there for you if needed and respectful of your privacy. Good place to stay!

Quaint and convenient

This VRBO is the best we have experienced for being stocked with essentials. It worked great for us as far as location to our venue for the week and it's within walking distance to many restaurants. The property managers are quite lovely as well. Our stay was a good experience.

The property is very nice, clean, beautifully decorated, and the property manager had all sorts of extras on site (coffee, etc). The apartment is in a very nice neighborhood centrally located. It was probably the best short-term rental I have ever taken

The property is perfect for a couple that wants to be centrally located in Houston. The hosts are delightful and so accomodating. They go out of their way to help, smiling all the time. We stay nowhere else in Houston if the apartment is available!

Cute remodeled garage apartment with everything we needed for our stay. Great layout with a very comfortable bed and wonderful outdoor patio. The host was fantastic making sure we had everything we needed. I stay in a lot of Vrbos and this host was top notch. Friendly and inviting. You can tell she loves what she does. The location was walkable and close to every thing we needed. We come to Houston frequently and have found the perfect spot for our next trip.

A baseball get away weekend!

It was a very enjoyable stay. The property was perfect. I enjoy the out side terrace for my morning coffee. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the sofa bed for my friend. The host provided snacks and drinks for us. The kitchen was fully stocked. I would stay there again when I come back to Houston.

Absolutely Adorable

My husband and I stayed in this adorable property from Thursday through Sunday. The property is clean, updated, and has all the amenities you could possibly need. Denise is a lovely host and anticipates her guests needs. She provided a nice continental breakfast and toiletries. I would highly recommend this property to any couple, it is well worth the price. We will come back!

College visit for my daughter

We came to Houston to visit Rice University. The location of Adorable Apartment was perfect for that. The Montrose area is safe and has many places within walking distance to eat. We ate at Snooze for breakfast twice-go early to avoid a long wait. The apartment was well furnished and comfy. Apartment had off street parking as an added benefit. Denise was very quick to answer questions and she had stocked the refrigerator for us too! If my daughter ends up going to Rice this is definitely where I will stay when I visit.

Perfect small place

I was in town to watch my son's soccer team play over the weekend. They were staying together as a team, leaving parents on our own. As a woman traveling alone and having never been to Houston, this felt like a great safe choice staying behind someone's house over their garage. And, this property was perfect! I can see 2 people staying here, but enjoyed being here alone. The fan circulating the air in between the front room and the bedroom provided a perfect level of white noise while I slept, and also made it so I couldn't hear outside noise. The ac cools it down somewhat quickly (it was fairly warm when I got there after midnight my first night). The only thing I did not like, and it wouldn't prevent me from staying here again, is the shower head directly over me when I showered with no real escape from it. The owners are amazingly thoughtful. This place is stocked well and I have to use the word again - thoughtfully. When I arrived super late at night, and had to be up 6 hours later to drive to a soccer game, I was extremely appreciative that there were eggs, fruit and English muffins ready for me. The place was clean, everything I needed worked, the bed was comfortable, the towels were nice and fluffy. If you are thinking of staying here, I highly recommend it.

Fantastic stay. Check-in was a snap. The hosts were gracious and made sure everything went smooth for the check-in. The AC was perfect and kept the apts nice and cool. The aesthetics were top notch. I really appreciated the little extras that the hosts provided. They left us with food and sodas and many more items. The bed was comfortable and we had a wonderful stay. My son and I came for the Niners game and the train to get to NRG is just a 10 min walk. Food is close by but we were focused on a couple of specific BBQ joints. I would recommend the hosts and their apt to anyone going to Houston. Thanks again!!
