Great location to unplug. Kiddos loved playing in the creek and making s’mores by the fire. Centrally located for easy drive to Hot Springs, Mt. Ida, and Murfreesboro.
This was our third time to stay and it was just as great as the first. Scott is always so helpful if you ever have any issues. Our favorite place to go on vacation.
This was our second time and we loved it just as much as the first time. We ran into an issue checking in but the owners answered our call immediately and was very helpful. We always enjoy staying here, very clean and nice. The creek was perfect.
Another great experience at Collier Creek. My wife and I had gone before and rented the largest cabin; we enjoyed it so much we rented all three and brought the family for a weekend. Everyone had a wonderful time and everything worked as expected. The creek is a wonderful place to cool off or get in some fly fishing. The location is perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle so you can really relax. We are looking forward to our next visit!
Spent a very relaxing weekend with wife. Great location as limited cell service kept things quiet! Beautiful spot on the creek with easy access. Single cabin great for small family, but all three close enough for larger get together. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed being in nature and the creek was beautiful! No cell service was a nice change of pace. The cabin was just as advertised, maybe even better! The whole area was so pretty with all the beautiful farmland. So secluded, yet close enough to run to the store for your groceries. The owner was readily available as needed. It stormed our last night there, but the generator kicked on immediately when the power went out so we were never without air conditioning, etc. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin is beautiful, rustic, and clean. Great communication with the owner. We loved listening to the crystal clear water flowing in the creek. A great weekend getaway.
The cabin and locations is even more beautiful in person than the pictures give it justice. It doesn’t matter if it rains on your stay, sitting on the back porch and watching it rain is so relaxing. The creek would be perfect for children to play in, our furry one loved it. The owner, Scott, is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back, we enjoyed our stay so much.
My husband and I stayed here with our 14 year old daughter and her friend. The girls had a blast playing in the creek, sitting around the firepit playing music and making smores, playing card games, etc....they rarely ever looked at their phones the entire trip! The property is exactly as described and then some. If you're looking for a more secluded/peaceful getaway that is still within an hour's drive to tourist attractions (such as Hot Springs), this is your place! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed, and Scott was very easy to communicate with/very quick to respond!
Wow! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and comfortable place to stay. We were there to enjoy the Caddo River and Hot Springs, but these cabins could be a vacation in and of themselves. Really hoping to return soon.
We had a great time at the cabin. 2 adults. 2 teens. 6,4,2 years Olds. Be sure small kids wear a life jacket. The current was swift. We were able to tube in the creek. The back porch s perfect. It is gated so littles can not get out and the sound of the creek is priceless. We ALL had fun making memories!
The cabin is as advertised; beautiful and very relaxing. The first 2 nights the weather was terrible, but if you have to be stuck in a cabin, this is the one to do it in. Scott was very easy to get in touch with helpful during our stay. We had our dog with us and he enjoyed the creek and we liked that the porch has a gate so he could hang outside and we didn’t have to worry about him. We would definitely go back.
This is just our kind of place - cozy, scenic, away from it all. Very comfortable place with one bedroom and a loft area. The pictures in the listing DO NOT do the property justice - it is much prettier both inside and out than we anticipated! The view of the creek from the large, covered back porch is the kind of thing that makes your vacation. Especially when you're cooking dinner on the grill or sitting on the porch swing drinking a cup of coffee.
Wish we would have been able to enjoy the property outside more than the rain would allow, but walking along the creek with our dog was a definite highlight of our trip.
Contacted the owners a couple of times before and just after our arrival. Scott was helpful and happy to provide lots of info on things to do.
We never do the same vacation twice, but if we were headed back to this area, we would not hesitate to stay at Collier Creek cabin again.
The creek setting was was special. It was such a test to hear the water running over the rocks. We were able to bring food in and cook several meals with the fully stocked kitchen, a must for the times. Roscoe (my dog) loved being able to sit on the porch (with a gate) with us while we read or played cards outside.
We had a great stay at this very special place. The cabin is clean, right by the most beautiful clear creek you have ever seen. Perfect for wading, swimming or just taking a walk( definitely take the walking sticks provided). Very simple booking process, easy to find. Property is 3 miles from a dollar store and 12 miles from Glenwood which has anything u need. WiFi is fast but no AT&T cell signal at all. Which is fine because property owner provides free long distance calling from the cabin. This is a very special place that I will recommend to all. We will definitely be back soon.
