We gathered as a family, 13 of us ages 7 to 76, to view the eclipse at my son's lake house on Belton Lake. I knew he couldn't host all of us for the 4 day weekend, so I searched for a nearby house we could use for sleeping. This home served us exactly as hoped. It is not modern or the Ritz, but clean and comfortable and attended well. That our dog was welcome and there was a completely fenced yard for him sealed the deal for us. Thanks Amy!

Not satisfied
Walking into the home it had a bad smell. Not one ceiling fan functioned properly and only 2 of the stove burners functioned at times. Floors were dirty. The outside of the house was also dirty.

For a business traveler that generally has a week or more in the area a few times a year and not have to be in a hotel room was a blessing. House has everything that you would need and was easy and clean. Perfect and will be back!
I came to Temple to meet and spend time with an old friend. This was a fine spot to convene. Nice yard for my dogs. Nothing special, but worked just fine for what I needed. Close to anything you may want to do in Temple, although I'm not sure what that would be since it's such a quiet town, haha.
Enjoyed the house . Had everything you need . Plus fence and washer and dryer. Home owner was very nice and worked with me with my request that I had. Older home provided plenty of space and all the little extras needed.
This was the perfect size for our family and our two small dogs. We loved that it was already decorated for Christmas, so we didn’t have to feel like buying anything else for decor as we celebrated Christmas away from home. The large fenced yard was great for our dogs. The back gate has some larger gaps, which our dogs managed to fit through. We solved that problem by blocking those areas. Very nice neighbors too!
Our only issues were the smells in the house. It was musty, which we knew ahead of time and purchased Febreze and wall plug ins. The green couch is extremely comfortable, but you could smell that a cat had urinated on it. We battled the smell with Febreze, but it really wasn’t enough. The main bedroom bedding/bed also smelled like cat urine. Fix those two problems and I think the smell will go away.
This is an older, well-loved house. Plenty of room for a small family with a large fenced in back yard. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone seemed very friendly. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. The beds were comfy.
Older well cared for home. Well equipped and convenient to all. Check in/out was very easy. Management was very thoughtful and communication was great.
My husband was hospitalized at Scott and White for 2 months. Our fur babies were super stressed staying home in San Antonio. I was super thankful for a rental that allowed pets! The fenced in backyard was great! As for human comforts, this property was very nice. Quiet neighborhood, close to every necessity, fully stocked; very comfortable. Had everything the fur kiddos and I needed. Very easy rental, checkin, and checkout. Great host!
Terrific little house in Temple. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Thank you for a nice stay.

Thanks!
This small but very clean and comfortable home worked out perfect for our stay in Temple. A small group of guys stayed here for a fishing tournament at Lake Belton and it worked out perfect. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thanks to Amy for her help getting us checked in and we will certainly consider another stay when our schedule brings us back that way!
