Timbers at Christmas Mt. Resort

This 3 bedroom condominium is located in a wooded setting and overlooks the golf course.   The condo has a complete kitchen,   2.5 baths, central A/C, flat screen TVs as well as front and back decks with a charcoal grill.  There is a large community fire pit available below the pavilion at the Activity Center and a gas fire pit by Mulligan's on site for your use.  Guests have use of the outdoor swimming pool in season.  Christmas Mountain Village is a complete year-round vacation resort featuring a beautiful golf course, restaurant, game room, hiking trails, cross-country skiing and intermediate downhill skiing. All this just minutes from the Dells!

Wonderful location a little away from the traffic of the Dells.Only issue which is a big one is no safety bars on walk in shower.

4th of July getaway

Loved it but the downfall was we had no access to the indoor waterpark. Also small things missing as in dish soap, salt and pepper, no pool towels.

We have been staying at Christmas Mountain resort for forty years. I own 3 Villa condo units and every year I need to find more space as the family continues to grow. The Timbers rental worked out amazing for us, it is newly redone and it looked amazing. I actually booked for our week for next year already at the Timbers.

Perfect for Family Stay

My family and I booked a last minute trip to the Wisconsin Dells and this was a great location and accommodation for us. It was super close to everything downtown and fit our family comfortably.

The Timbers cabin my family and I stayed at was comfortable for my family and I. It was clean, it had everything we needed. It looked like it was recently updated. The location from downtown was close (15 minutes or less). It was affordable for the weekend. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this cabin. Check-in and check out was easy. The only thing I would say could use improvement is directions on how to get there LOL…the resort is so big and there’s another building right next to where we stayed that is #2…so if there’s a way to clarify the correct building to others in the future that would be helpful

July at Christmas mountain

Location is nice and the view of the golf course from the back deck is excellent. First floor is nice, basement though is kind of run down. There were also a lot of bugs inside on the walls.

Preface: this was in no way completely the fault of the host but…The unit and location changed due to “a pipe bursting” in the unit I originally booked. One unit was relocated much further away than originally expected and .

Location is great, price is reasonable, only feedback is you desperately need a large non stick skillet pan. I battled with the one in there, lol! That’s an easy fix!

Local staff (not sand county) was quite rude and we were unable to reach property management during the stay. Lots of long black hairs found throughout property, not cleaned well. Check in agent was very kind.

Christmas Mountain Condo

Condo was not very clean. Cobwebs everywhere, dirty dishes in the cabinets, squeaky front door, squeaky kitchen drawers, outlet on deck not working, ceiling fan in one bedroom not working, overall we did not like this place and will not return.

Things we liked: Lots of towels A TV in each bedroom A bed for everyone A washer and dryer The pool The quiet Things we didn't like: The king size bed was in the basement which seemed damp The TINY sink in the basement bathroom with poor lighting The tiny shower in the basement bathroom No lock on the basement bathroom door The step up in the basement bathroom All in all it was a nice condo. The kids had a great time. Everyone was happy.

So unimpressed with this property. Condo smells bad, like pickles or old spices and had white residue on hard wood floora looked dirty foot prints. Downstairs tv doesnt work at all. Bathrooms are tiny and shower had black gray stain on bottom of it. Basement sheets had two green stains on them-disgusting. One bed had two bugs in it. No wifi or cell reception. Sent a message first night about property first not and they didnt respond. Gross and dirty do not pay to stay here!

Unkempt

We arrived on July 4th. Only one key worked and it was very difficult. Neither key worked the deadbolt so we only could use it when we were in the house. I went out to the deck and noticed it had not been swept or cleaned in any way for quite a while. Pine cones, pine needles, bugs, dirt were all over the deck, table and chairs. My wife said there was a bad smell downstairs so I went down and recognized the smell that something had died. We called the manager, George (who was great!) and he got someone out within the hour. While we waited on him we realized the AC didn't work, there were spider webs throughout the house, including on the stairs that you would walk through them going from floor to floor. When the gentleman arrived about the smell he found a large group of dead mice in the ceiling of the basement. I'm not sure how that was missed if the house had been cleaned because the smell was pretty strong. He cleared them out but then we noticed mouse droppings all over both bed spreads and no one wanted to sleep downstairs. So my kids decided to sleep on the couch and love seat on the main level all 3 nights. The AC was not fixed until day 2 but we were credited for one night. We noticed that there was an attempt to dust but it was a poor attempt and much of the furniture had dust on it. The furniture was also low quality. The reason I wanted to go with VRBO is because I wanted to give my family a home feel while on our trip. That didn't happen.

The indoor pool is not available to those who rent. So that was extremely disappointing information to find out upon check in. Management company was very nice. Home was pretty clean inside. The deck and porch were a mess, must have been storms prior to check in. They left a leaf blower to clean, but the rental fee should’ve covered that prior to check in. Nice place, would stay again in the summer when there’s access to the pool. Lots of sleeping space!
