The Kenai River Cabin was perfect for our Sockeye Salmon fishing trip to Sterling. It was perfect for the two of us and close to phenominal fishing. Bobbi Jo ,our host was very helpful and responded quickly. The cabin has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
My husband and I stayed here with our two preteen kids. I wasn’t sure how well we’d fit, but it worked out great! One kid used the futon and one used the fold out sleeping mat provided, while my husband and I had the king sized bed in the loft. Everything you could possibly need was provided!
This is a great place! Well kept, easy to communicate with the property owner, easy access, and an all-around wonderful Alaskan stay. The bed is located in a loft, so consider you and your guest's ability to climb a ladder.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful and so cozy. We had a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and close proximity to Skilak lake. Would love to stay here again!
Had a great stay and loved the area. Did some fishing and a lot of sightseeing. The Swan Lake fire was going while we were there so there was smoke for many days.
Would suggest a safety grab rail and barrier around the ladder hole. All in all we loved it and the owners couldn't have been more helpful.😊😊😊
The house is gorgeous, we all enjoyed it very very very very very much. Great location so glad we found this place . Will definitely be back and also tell other friends to come and enjoy it.
Out of every other place we have stayed in Alaska this cabin is SO PERFECT!!! Unbelievable condition with a great shower, washer and dryer, and everything that you need for a very relaxing get away in the woods. Only 5 mins from the best fishing spots on Kenai River. Could not ask for a better experience> We SO RECOMMEND this awesome place and Bobbi Jo the Owner!! Thank you so very much for sharing such a great cabin with us and for being so kind. God bless you!!
We had a wonderful week. This area is so quiet I slept so sound. It is a small cabin but has all the comforts of home except the distracting TV and Internet. The kitchen had just enough cooking supplies and spices to cook up our fresh caught fish. I had been traveling for awhile so it was also very nice to be able to wash my clothes. Loved it. I will be back! Oh yeah, and I was able to bring my dog.
Loved every minute of my stay❤️ The place was so peaceful and so close the places we wanted to visit. Very comfortable, We didn’t want to leave.

Alaskan cabin!
The cabin was clean and well stocked. Having a separate bath house took a little getting used to but overall added to the Alaskan adventure!

Great value, wonderful location!
This Cabin was a lot of private space for an exceptional value. Centrally located to sight-see all over the Kenai Peninsula, it was easy to find, but quiet and secluded. It was well stocked (water, coffee maker, dishes, and basic spices and tea, as well as an ample refrigerator). The owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions! We enjoyed the area, and were able to visit Homer, Seward, and Soldotna/Kenai as easy day trips. We enjoyed fishing the Kenai River at many of the public access points nearby in Soldotna, and picked up groceries at the nearby Safeway store for cooking at the cabin. We also recommend visiting the Trustworthy Hardware for fishing gear, and Birch Ridge Community Church for worship in Soldotna.

Beautiful cabin and centrally located to everything I need.
This cabin was much better than I expected! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed from dishes to spices. Lots of blankets to keep me warm and very very quiet. It was midway between Seward and Homer, allowing me to be able to see as much as southern Alaska as possible. The owner was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. I look forward to staying there again!

Fisherman Vacation
Loved staying in this rustic cabin. It had everything we needed. The bath house was very warm, clean and big. We did not mind the ladder up to the loft after we figured out the best way to climb up and down. The view from the bed was wonderful. With summer nights in Alaska being so light, we had no problems with going outside to the bathroom.

Great cabin. Only downside is the loft/ladder and separate bathhouse. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!
