Recently remodeled private unit of a large duplex with 3 Bedrooms and 1 master bathroom. Guests have free reign of the 1,500 sq/ft loft upstairs including:
- One large master bedroom with king sized bed, lofted area, TV, and desk
- 2 large bedrooms with king sized beds, desks perfect for working, and unique nook areas that kids enjoy
- NEW kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal including cookware, spices, and oils
- Large living room with 50" Smart TV, plenty of seating to watch movies or the big game
- Breakfast bar with complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks
- Dining area with table for 4-6 guests
- One large bathroom with his & hers sinks and full sized tub/shower, plenty of towels & toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hair dryer, and iron

Super cute loft

The loft was perfect for our group of friends who traveled into SLC for a quick weekend visit. Comfortable and spacious, plus lots of nooks and crannies to explore. We walked to a couple places from the loft- Mountain West Cider and Marmalade Brunch House- and drove to other places in the city. Brett is easy to communicate with and provided all the information we needed.

Cute place!

My kids loved all the nooks and crannies. Very clean. Nice bathroom especially. The heat lamps that turn on with the fan made a nice sauna effect. Neighborhood is closer to North Salt Lake than Capitol Hill, just FYI. We liked it and would stay here again.

Loved it!

We were in town for my daughter’s soccer tournament. This was the perfect home base for our stay. My teenagers loved the cubbies and there was plenty of space for our family of four to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking and eating in as well as visiting some local restaurants. The host was quick to reply to questions. Would highly recommend!

Nice place all around.

Would have been a 10/10 had it not been for the odor of what smelled like animal urine. No animal hair and everything else was great hut the smell was in the air. That being said with a carpet cleaning ill bet it will be gone and i would definitely stay again l.

Such a cute place!

The space is adorable! The lofts and cubbies were so fun. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans etc. The only downside is the stairs to the apartment. They are a little skinny and there are several. It was just an effort to unload and reload the car. Parking is adequate and we were able to find parking in front of the house at any time.

The air conditioner was noisy; and the system for controlling it was complicated. The television was too complicated, especially if you wanted to listen to real time news.

Thank you for the review, I would like to address some of the complications you mentioned for future guests. The HVAC system is ran by a Google Nest thermostat and there are detailed instructions on how to use the smart system attached to the wall right next to it. The house manual also outlines how to use the Nest as well as the Smart TV which has all the local channels and multiple streaming apps.

Like a home away from home

This apartment was adorable had everything we needed. We were in SLC for a long stay (11 days) for a sporting event for my son, and I brought my daughter as well to make a family vacation out of it. The spacious kitchen/living room and 3 bedrooms gave us lots of room to chill out, but it was cozy at the same time. My teens loved the nooks in the bedrooms and spent a lot of quiet time in there. The location was great, too - we seemed to be 10 min or less from everything in the city and I loved being able to go running in the beautiful City Creek area. We walked to a lovely breakfast spot nearby and to a convenience store for necessities. Our host Brett was very gracious and checked in on us several times to make sure we had what we needed. The neighborhood felt very safe and parking out front was always available. Thank you Brett for a lovely stay!!

Cute house in the capitol area

Communication with Brett was easy before we arrived. All questions were answered promptly. The apartment is the top floor of a really cute house. It is very spacious and also cozy with lots of character! Having king beds was great! There were a few areas that needed attention. The tub is old, but there is a bath mat in it. I told Brett it needed replacing and also that a few small areas were missed by his cleaning service. He said he would convey to the cleaners. Other then that we were very comfortable and enjoyed exploring the area!

Hey Nancy, Thanks for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated and action has been taken! The cleaners now know not to miss cleaning the teapot and fridge drawers. The bath mat has been replaced and we are planning on remodeling the bathroom this summer when we have a break in bookings.

Why they chose this property

Downtown with out the high prices! This recently remodeled loft has few unique features like desks in each bedroom, a lofted area in one bedroom, and 2 nooks in the others. It's a space adults and kids love. We even kept the original doors from the early 1900's!

What makes this property unique

Very interesting floor plan with lofted spaces and one of the original houses on the block originally built in 1903. Fully renovated in 2020!
