Great indoor/outdoor spaces with a billiard table on the patio for sociable evenings following long lazy days of popping down for a swim or a surf. This house has all you'll need for a relaxing summer holiday. Airconditioning and ceiling fans will keep you cool in this property fringed by rainforest with views to the ocean and breezes wafting through. The large, modern kitchen is well-equipped for entertaining and a barbeque will keep everyone happy.
A fenced yard will keep children and pets safe. There are many cafes, clubs and restaurants close by. Hot and cold indoor baths and showers add a feeling of relaxation and luxury to your stay. An outdoor firepit can be a sociable way to spend an evening, or you may enjoy a lawn game of boules or finska. Great family Accomodation

Plenty of room for 9 adults and 2 fur babies. Great bush location minutes from beaches and dining. Would highly recommend. Carol and Brad are wonderful hosts.

Great place for a family gathering

We loved our short stay at Coledale, which made it even more special as we were able to have our dog with us for the gathering. Plenty of room for the 5 adults and 2 teenagers. The teens enjoyed the pool table and there are plenty of spaces to relax and unwind. Carol and Brad were great hosts.

Great Christmas

We had a lovely family Christmas at Brad and Carol’s beautiful house.Our grandchildren aged 2 and 4 loved collecting eggs from the chicken while the adults enjoyed playing darts and pool.The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking for Christmas.

Lovely big house with plenty of space inside and out and a great view. We had a very relaxing time. Might be a mistake on the listing in one section as there is no hot tub (that we could find).

Amazing Summer

This house has everything!! It was much bigger than the photos looked, the living space was incredible. The kitchen was huge with loads of benchspace when we had our family dinners. The BBQ is great quality and cooked up some wonderful food while playing some pool and enjoying the sea breeze we seemed to get from being up high. The bedrooms were great sizes too with room to put our clothes away as we were staying for the week. We would absolutely recommend the property to anyone and want to come back again ourselves. The kids really enjoyed collecting eggs from the chickens too. The house stayed really cool as well which was great as we were there early Jan. The beaches and surrounding areas are also great with everything you need to enjoy your time out.

Incredible experience only an hour from Sydney

Without a doubt one of the best family holidays we’ve experienced in years. A short drive from Sydney and we were transported to a tranquil, green oasis with a view of the ocean. Carol and Brad were the loveliest hosts - warm and generous. The house easily accommodated our large family group and it was such a joy to relax and unwind in the clean, open spaces with glimpses of green from every window. This place feels so far from Sydney - beautiful ocean beaches are a hop down the road (and it’s an easy walk back up the hill if you want to ditch the car), and the majestic escarpment rises up behind the rainforest and reminds you that this is still a wild and special place. The only negative was having to leave. Thank you so much Carol and Brad!

A great break away

Great property, very comfortable. Amazing view from the back garden. We took our dog and it was great for him, safe and secure. A good time had by all. Brad and Carol are amazing hosts.

Coledale staycation

Fantastic house with plenty of entertainment options, views of the water and stunning sunrises(great kitchen too). Avoid the RSL and Sharkys for food. It is definitely a drive to the beach as the return trip up the hill can be a bit tough.

Beautiful tranquil bush setting

Brad and Carol have a beautiful property nestled in the foothills of Coledale. The property offers the best of both worlds, a tranquil bush setting, yet just a few minutes drive from any number of coastal beaches and villages. The kids also had a great time feeding the chooks and exploring the property. Brad, Carol and Isobelle were also very prompt in responding to our requests and providing advice during our stay.
