Not what we booked and paid for at all
Got a phone call from owner saying that the cottage we booked wasnt available as a photographer wanted to use it and they painted it white for them . She offered us an upgrade to a bigger cottage since i had paid in full i accepted the upgrade . But when we got in late on the arrival day we were shown to a donga not a cottage as told by owner . There was a person living nextdoor attached we booked a cottage on its own ( which by the way couldnt find the advertised cottage anywhere on the property) . The donga was filled with old mis matching furniture , carpet tiles that didnt match even lifted by bed , no cutting board , no sink plug , no microwave to heat our dinner. It was very clean tho except for the dishes in cupboard were dirty need to clean before we could use them. Outside furniture had no cushions were old and table was dirty chairs rusty no cushions so no place to sit comfortably outside . Plus no outside light and a ladder , mop and bucket, spades etc leaning up against donga and garden shed trip hazzard. The gardens were nice but over grown. We could not leave and go somewhere else because had no more money to do so so we put up with it for the week. Would not recommend this cottage/donga to stay in.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m genuinely sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your stay. I'd like to address your concerns and clarify a few points.Firstly, the outdoor cushions and BBQ are stored in the shed to protect them from bad weather, including the storm that occurred on your arrival day. Additionally, there is a French oak table with two large wooden benches and a sun umbrella right outside your accommodation for your use.
The outdoor light at your door can be switched to stay on, not just function as a sensor light.
All of our cottages, including the one you initially booked, are transportable units, which is clearly indicated in the listing photos. The upgrade you accepted was double the size of your original booking for added comfort.
The kitchen sink plug is stored in the cupboard under the sink alongside the cleaning products provided for your stay. The cutting boards (three color-coded ones) are on the shelf opposite the sink. The microwave is stored in the left-most kitchen cupboard. I understand these may not have been immediately obvious, and I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
The furniture follows a coordinated yellow and white theme, and the accommodation was professionally cleaned, including a deep clean, prior to your arrival as part of our standard preparation.
While we have never advertised the cottages as freestanding, I wish you had mentioned any concerns during your stay. Danielle, who checked you in, was availalable to help

Very comfortable, peaceful and convenient.
Having travelled for 10 hours or more we felt so welcomed on our arrival. The cottage was fully equiped. Was very clean.
We were only 10 to 15 mins from shopping centre, beach and easy to discover and explore local attractions.
We have very fond memories of our stay. Enjoying our grandchildren at the cottage was perfect. Surrounded by bush lovley gardens and huge trees. Who would think we were in the city ?
The views from our room at night with city lights in the distance and reflecting on the lake and having breakfast on the verandah beautiful trees and the lake in the distance. So peaceful. We wil certainly want to stay again.
We highly reccomend the stay and found our hostess Agnus to be so helpful and welcoming.
