Tranquil Guesthouse just a Short Walk from the Beach

Bright and airy detached guesthouse with private entry. Settle in for a month of Sunday's with walks to the Beach and Orange Avenue to enjoy local dining and shops. Located in a quiet section of Coronado Village, you can rest, recharge and make full use of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare your favorite meals.

The spacious two bedroom guesthouse is accessed off the alley and includes a private parking space. Entrance is up a flight of stairs where you enter your great room with 360 degree views. Enjoy sunrise off the outdoor covered deck with your morning cup of coffee and sunset views from the dining and reading area.

Great room includes fully equipped kitchen with two seat counter, dining area that seats six, corner reading area, living area with Apple TV and Blu-Ray DVD player, large ceiling fan and a covered outdoor deck through double French doors.

Downstairs you will find a cool and cozy sleeping retreat with two bedrooms and a bathroom with a large walk in shower. The master bedroom features a queen size bed with a feather comforter and memory foam pillows. Other features include two large closets with built in drawers, shelving and clothing rods, and a floor length wall mounted mirror. Bedroom 2 has two twin size beds (trundle style) and a large chest of drawers as well as two storage closets with shelving. Access to the washer and dryer is through the exterior door in the master bedroom and onto a small under roof patio where opening the outdoor double doors will reveal the stacked washer dryer unit.

The storage unit in the alcove adjacent to the front stairs holds all your beach going needs, including beach chairs, an umbrella, sand play toys and a portable ice chest. In this area you will also find places to hang your sandy/wet towels and wet swimsuits from your beach adventures. A hose to rinse off sandy feet before heading back inside completes the alcove.

David’s Coronado Rental

We enjoyed our stay at David’s rental. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos on VRBO. We loved the fact that it is a few blocks and 5 min walk from the beach.

A wonderful month!

Great guest house, great location. We had a lovely month taking in everything Coronado had to offer. We were walking distance to the beach and to all the restaurants and shops on Orange Avenue. We utilized the fully equipped kitchen to cook quite a few meals. We were very pleased with how easy it was to stay at David’s guesthouse and we hope to return.

Great Stay on Coronado

I stayed here for 7 weeks for a work trip and had a very pleasant time. David and Audrey were fantastic hosts and very communicative. Location was great being only a couple blocks from the main beach on Coronado but also a short walk to Orange Ave if I ever wanted to check out the restaurants or stores downtown. The stay itself was in the guest house - quaint, beach house style home that was very accommodating. During the hotter days the home did get pretty warm inside but utilizing the fan and opening windows for cross breeze cooled the home relatively quickly. There is both AC and heat available as well for those chilly mornings or hot evenings too. I would recommend this VRBO for those looking to get the Coronado experience without being directly within the hustle and bustle of Orange Ave. I will love to come stay here again the next time I’m in San Diego!

The guest house was the perfect place for me to care for my daughter, while she recouped from a last minute kidney transplant. I communicated to the host that I was looking for a place to care for my daughter that was safe and quiet, he assured me that the Coronado Guest house was the place for us and he was absolutely right. After a week in bed, I was able to get my daughter out to explore the island, there is much to explore and lots to enjoy. I would definitely recommend the guest house to family and friends.

Tranquil Beach Getaway

Amazing first experience with VRBO @ David's place

This was my first time using VRBO for a vacation stay and David's place was nothing short of perfect. It was exactly as advertised on his posting: clean, spacious, bright with lots of natural light. super close to the beach with all the necessary beach gear provided. The guesthouse offered the perfect amount of privacy but also allowed us to get a glimpse of our 2 awesome neighbors Kaya and Gracie :). I stayed here with my GF for a month and we loved everything about Coronado. From our morning tea or cocktails on the balcony to beach days and bike rides along the coast. We cant recommend this place enough and i will most certainly be back! David and his wife Audrey were great communicators and ensured we had everything we needed for a great stay.

The perfect Coronado guesthouse!

As a Coronado local, you don’t often get to enjoy your hometown as a guest, but this absolutely charming guesthouse offers the perfect respite! It’s clean, bright, airy and perfectly located! Easy access to the beach and to all that awaits on Orange Avenue. Our hosts were responsive and accommodating, and made our stay just a delight! Super comfy beds, a kitchen you can really cook in, and a wonderfully relaxing vibe! We felt perfectly at home, and I will look fondly back on quiet mornings, enjoying my coffee on the porch and watching the hummingbirds zip about the tree tops. Can’t recommend the host and guesthouse highly enough!
