Comfortable base for 30a songwriter fest

Pretty much perfect location for 30a songwriter fest. Beds comfortable, plenty of hot water for shower, kitchen met all our needs. Nice living room to hang out in. Blue Mountain Beach laid back in a good way.

Great family friendly place to stay

Really enjoyed the property and convenient location. Our hot tub did not work but I didn’t communicate that until after we left. Hopefully will be fixed before next guests. Really loved the property. All the Beds were great too!

Great house and location in Blue Mountain Beach

The house was spacious and clean and a quick walk or golf cart trip to some great restaurants and shops. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the hot tub. It looked as if the water had not been changed prior to our arrival and there was a lot of debris inside. When the jets turned on, an awful chemical odor came out and made it unbearable. We immediately got out and showered. Beyond this small detail, we enjoyed the house and our stay. We would definitely rebook.

Great house with easy beach access

The house was perfect for our party. We had many lovely meals in the back deck, and the twinkle lights are a festive touch. The porch swing on the front porch is a great place to read. The golf cart was handy, and the beach access was easy to access and not crowded. The property has easy access to a running and biking trail Along 30A and also is walking distance to Blue Mountain Creamery, which the kids enjoyed. The only bummer was that the hot tub was not clean and did not work. The owner tried her best to get it resolved while we were there, but it unfortunately did not work during our stay. We found plenty of other things to do!

Beautiful Home

When they say under a mile from the beach - literally .75 miles from the beach. So if you're bringing the family and have a lot of things to bring to have a fun full day - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WAGON! It was a 20 minute walk to the nearest beach access, hauling all our stuff and the kiddos. Parking was available but ALWAYS packed. We were really looking forward to using the hot tub - but the water smelled bad and when the jets turned on the water was incredibly cloudy...so that was disappointing. Otherwise the house is beautiful, it worked for our needs as we spent the majority of our time on the beautiful beach! Close to a large grocery store. Short drive to Destin.

We had a lot of fun & created special memories with our friends which is really what made our trip a success! My reason in giving a 4-star instead of a 5-star rating is the issue with the beach access. You have two options from this house: a 5-minute walk or a drive to the public beach. We found that both options were problematic. If you walk to the beach the only way to get there is through a walkway that technically belongs to a condo complex. We made this walk several times on our first day and were finally told by a security guard that we could no longer use that access point even though we were told that the walkway is public access. There's a second problem with this access...once you are on the sand in this particular area it's all completely private beaches meaning that you cannot setup a spot on this beach (again, we were confronted by a security guard). On our second day at the beach we decided to load up our car and go to the public beach access that's just down the road. It was completely full (tiny parking area) and we had to park pretty far down the road after we unloaded all of our stuff. Once on the sand we found that it was overly crowded because the "public" beach was a short little strip between two private beaches. We did enjoy our time at the beach but it was definitely inconvenient and not what we expected. As far as the house goes we liked it aside from a few minor things that need to be addressed. Hot tub was a huge hit with everyone, we loved the whole back patio area! Kitchen could use some basics (salt & pepper, sugar for coffee, cooking spray, etc.) but overall it was fine for what we needed. One last thing that I will mention just because I somehow overlooked this piece of information...this house does not come with access to the community pool. It did not end up being an issue for us (thank goodness) but if a pool is something you'd like to have this house may not work for you.

Rented for annual golf buddies trip!

Nice property for our golf trip. Not as clean as we would have liked. The dust on top of the refrigerator was thick enough to write your name in. The TV set in the living did not work properly. Apparently the FireStick used for streaming was either broken or so old that it was not compatible with the TV. We had swap it for the FireStick from the master bedroom TV. Otherwise the property was fine and convenient to the golf course that we were playing.

2020 Santa Rosa family trip

The house was great. I would have rated 5 star except for the access to the beach. While the walkway to the beach was not far the fact that we were not able to sit wherever we wanted was an issue. The area closest to the walkway was PRIVATE per the retreat so we had to walk down the beach to setup. We ended up driving to the public beach areas everyday.

Wedding stay.

Great accommodations to have the family together for a weekend of family time and a beach wedding. The house was a perfect size the location of the ceremony was only a half mile away. Thanks for allowing us to have our dog.

Best Vacay Home Ever

We just stayed in July 2019 and we absolutely LOVED our stay at this beach house! The house is super clean and very nice. Pics don’t even do it any justice. The hot tub is clean and such a nice extra to have. We loved having a golf cart to ride around in. The pool is great (we just wished it stayed open later than dark). The owners respond fast and are extremely helpful and sweet. Everything about our stay here was amazingly perfect. The weather was great and the beach and water was gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back to 30A again next summer and stay in this home again!

We had everything we could possibly want and need at the house! The property manager was so easy to get in touch with when we had questions during our stay. So close to the beach!

September and April are my favorite months to visit Santa Rosa Beach- fewer tourists and perfect beach weather! This house is very well-appointed with all the comforts of home, everything we needed to cook in and relax. Our girls group had plenty of space - especially since there were two master bedrooms, and three full baths. We walked to the beach and rode the golf cart to nearby restaurants. House was as advertised and very clean. Looking forward to going back!

Great home with plenty of space and well equipped. We took our teenage daughter and 3 of her friends for spring break. It’s beachside of 30A and Literally a 5 minute walk to the beach. Also walking distance to Blue Mountain Creamery and several other restaurants. Beds were very comfortable. And the gigantic hot tub was the real hit! Also, greatly appreciated the ability to bring our dogs...

Winter respite!

We were so excited when we arrived at our destination, beautiful day, incredible beaches and a home that defined our perfect getaway! Everything was immaculate and much nicer than advertised. The beds were more than comfortable and we retreated to them a couple of times each day to watch our favorite TV programs. Hemmingwaves created a spell of old world set in the middle of paradise! I spent some wonderful hours in the hot tub, just steps from the back door. We can’t wait to come back!
