A great place to 'shelter in place. Beautiful views, scenic hikes on quiet trails, tide pool exploration.

Moss Beach is 18 miles to San Francisco and 22 miles to Silcone Valley where you will find tech companies and business people. This is a great place to rent if you are here for work. Work hard all day and relax at night while listening to the waves steps from the house.

Newly rebuilt house above Seal Cove Beach. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a large great room. Large deck with expansive ocean views. Beach access and beautiful Fitzpatrick Marine Reserve Park one block north of house. Two bed, two bath with large living area and brand new kitchen. Same great views from the two bed rooms and the large central living area. WiFi, 2 TV's, ample street parking. Moss Beach is between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay with great beaches, hiking and lots of activities near by for the whole family. Fifteen minute drive to San Francisco. Very short walk to the Moss Beach Brewery, voted best restaurant at Half Moon Bay.
Truly elegantly furnished. Living room couch by Design Within Reach. Casper mattresses. Case Study bed. Hand made oriental carpets and high end kitchen fixtures.

This house is amazing. The host is super sweet. Only left a star off because the dishwasher was not working (but it was clear they were working a solution). Otherwise 5 stars all the way!

Excellent location, between our two favorite places, Pacifica and Half Moon Bay. Next door is our favorite restaurant, The Distillery. You can see and hear the ocean from all the rooms including the large outdoor patio. Entire home was handicap friendly with exception of lower level patio. We were pleasantly greeted with lit fireplace, candles and lavendar difuser (all battery/electronically operated). The beds were comfortable and everything tastefully furnished. This will be our "Go To" vacation rental!

Great place to stay!

We’ve rented this house for new year’s for several years and we just love it. It’s got great views, and is really close to the Fitzgerald Marine Preserve with its tidepools, trails, and seals. The backyard has a large patio perfect for lounging with fire pits to keep off the chill. They’ve recently redone the lower yard and it’s beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!

Hello, my name is Gonul (sounds like kernal). I am an RN and formerly the chef/owner of three restaurants in Sacramento specializing in farm to table cuisine. I still like gardening and producing my own products - when staying at our Moss Beach House, try my tea. Love walking by the sea and listening to the waves. I am married to my loving and supportive husband, Mitch, and have two grown children.

Why they chose this property

We have chosen this location as our retirement home, but will share it with our HomeAway friends until that time comes.

What makes this property unique

Moss beach is located just north of Half Moon Bay with its 4 mile long beach and loads of activities. The house sits 60 feet above the ocean with great views from all living areas and a beautiful, large deck. Enjoy the constant sound of waves hitting the shore and breathing the clean, fresh Pacific Ocean air. There is a beautiful 1/4 mile long beach with access 200 yards to the north. San Francisco is around 15 - 20 minutes north on Rt 1
