About this property

Very close in rental location which is only one mile from downtown. It boasts a walkscore of 92 and bike score of 98 so it doesn't get much better in terms of getting around town even without a vehicle. Unit was recently remodeled with hardwoods and tile but its really looking great. There is 2 bedrooms and one bathroom but we will have a couple of air mattresses in case additional guests will be staying there. We are just getting the property running so I'm open to suggestions on things that are needed but at this point we have sheets, towls, soaps, cleaning supplies, paper towels, coffee maker, pots, pans, plates, silverware, glasses, hangers

Great roomy apartment in fun area.

First time staying on "the other side" in Portland and we loved it. Great area with nearby places to eat. Apartment was as advertised and had lots of room for the four of us. Kitchen is a great size too. Place was not ready as early as advertised but we were a late arrival so it was not a problem.

We really enjoyed staying here!!!

We stayed for 2-nights in August and the apartment was lovely! It was easily accessible, clean, organized, decorated nicely, beds were super comfortable, nice shower with plenty of hot water and awesome water pressure (that is a big deal when you stay in places with neither of those), and the wi-fi worked great! The place is close to downtown Portland and other cute areas that we could walk to for dinner and drinks, and we felt safe walking around during the day and at night. It is street parking only but it was never an issue because we always found a spot close by.Overall, it was a great experience and we would stay again if ever back in the area. My only suggestion would be to have a couple extra blankets in the closet for those of us who get cold at night. ;) Thank you again! M, M, & S

Unprepared, poor communication, and smelly

When we arrived the whole place smelled like sewage, there was no toilet paper, and there was supposed to be an air mattress ready to go. The air mattress was there but not filled up and it took a while to find the pump. We sent a bunch of messages that took a while for him to reply to. He dropped off toilet paper and blamed the stench of sewage that all 5 of us smelled on a musty shower. The solution was air fresheners and keeping the windows open, but credit where credit is due, they fixed the odor. He offered to comp one night which we agreed to but he never follow through. After badgering him with repeated messages he finally refunded a portion and has since stopped responding to messages. I'm sure the issue was temporary and it probably doesn't smell, but the real problem is the owner's spotty communicating, being passive aggressive by giving us the option to find another place to stay as we were getting ready to go to a wedding, and not keeping his word about the resolution.
