Bar Beach Suite

This was an ideal base for us to stay while visiting family and friends in Newcastle with easy access to the wonderful beaches. Janet went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable and the apartment/suite was surprisingly quiet. We would be very happy to return.

Great short stay at Bar Beach

My husband and I had a great stay at Bar Beach. The property was lovely and so close to the beach. The host Janet was very generous and easy to communicate with, we enjoyed an early check in and late checkout. We parked our car and did not move it the whole weekend, we walked everywhere including to Parkrun! Thank you Janet for a wonderful two night stay.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay immensely. The accommodation was beautifully presented, clean, and attention paid to the little details that make the difference. Generous welcome provisions, luxurious bedding and room to move and relax. Communication with Janet before and during our stay was easy and informative. It would be hard to find a better place to stay around Bar Beach / Cooks Hill location.

This location is fantastic for the city, a beach place and handy for walks/run. It was a brisk walk to the city centre. Washing machine is a great addition and CB plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast or dinner. Would def return.

The place was very well appointed and wonderfully located across from Bar Beach. We had a great stay, with one downside - there is a skylight in the bedroom that doesn’t have a blind, so unless you’re keen for a very early wake up, pack an eye mask.
