This house is part of the Mountain Serenity Rentals group, an elite group of family-owned properties providing the absolute best of what Angel Fire has to offer. Mountain Serenity Rentals is a small but mighty team started by husband and wife duo Eric and Cheryl in 2006. What began with one house and a small dream has since grown into our true passion: offering families from all over the opportunity to make memories in the mountains in beautiful, clean, up-to-date, and well-maintained homes. At Mountain Serenity Rentals, we intentionally market only a handful of properties so we can provide the highest level of service. We believe you deserve all the things you need for a great stay, and don’t want to nickle and dime you for them. Our homes are stocked with firewood for fireplaces and fire pits, propane for gas grills, detergent for laundry machines, and all the basics for kitchens and bathrooms. If you are ever missing something during your stay, don’t hesitate to reach out! We have gathered a tremendous amount of knowledge over the years, but actively value feedback from our guests so we can continue to improve and provide excellence.

Here are some highlights of the property we know you'll love:

** Surrounded by trees, Mountain Hideaway provides a serene and secluded retreat, while still being conveniently located just a few miles from all that Angel Fire has to offer. The ski lift for winter skiing and summer downhill mountain biking is just a 2-mile (5 min) drive, the country club, offering golf, tennis, dining, and more is just a 1-mile (2 min) drive, and Monte Verde Lake, great for boating and fishing in the summer, and near great sledding in the winter is just a 2.5 mile (4 min) drive.

** The house sleeps anywhere from 11 to 16 guests comfortably thanks to its spacious layout. Making it able to accommodate multiple families or groups with ease. It has 3 queen-sized bedrooms as well as a huge game room and sleeping area for the younger set. The game room/kids area features 2 sets of full-over-full bunks, and a full-sized daybed, as well as a ping pong table, its own wood stove, and a seating area for relaxing, drawing, or playing games. The home features 3 full bathrooms as well as 3 living areas across the 3 sprawling stories.

** Get away from the big city and relax in the mountains. Have your morning coffee or evening beverage on the back deck, make s'mores around the outdoor fire pit, soothe your sore muscles in the hot tub, or enjoy a family meal. Play cards by the wood-burning fireplace or take a long hot shower under our rainfall showerheads. It's all here waiting for you.

** The house is fully stocked with everything you could need for your stay. In each bathroom, we provide linens and towels, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, and other cooking utensils you need, as well as paper towels, napkins, spices, olive oil, dish soap, and dishwashing detergent. All you need to buy is the food! We also have a laundry room with detergent provided for the washer, just in case your mountain adventures get messy!

BEDROOMS/SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS/BATHROOMS: The top floor has a king bedroom with its own full bathroom, sitting area, office area with desk, and even its own fireplace. The main floor has two bedrooms, one king and one queen, that share a full bathroom with a shower. The bottom floor has a huge game room/kids area with a ping pong table, 2 sets of bunk beds (full over full), and a full-sized day bed. There are 3 full bathrooms, one on each floor, each with a tiled shower and rainfall showerhead. Bedrooms and bathrooms are fully stocked with pillows, linens/blankets, towels, shampoo and body wash, hair dryers, and hand soap.

LIVING AREAS: Your group will enjoy spreading out in the multiple living areas in this house. The main floor has a living room with comfy furniture, a bar table for dining that seats 4, and a wood-burning fireplace (which can be enjoyed from the living room or kitchen side). On the top floor, there is a loft sitting area and another wood-burning fireplace, while on the lower level is a huge game room where families can gather, play ping pong, watch TV, or play games together.

KITCHEN/DINING: Making and eating meals together is a great way to create memories and this home provides everything you need. Our kitchen features stainless appliances, gas stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee makers (regular and a Keurig), blender, griddle, crockpot, and more. All plates, glassware, baking/cookware, pots, pans, and utensils are provided. In addition, we have a cabinet with olive oil, flour, sugar, and spices to get you started. On the outdoor deck, you will find a gas grill ready for your use and seating for up to 6 at an outdoor table. For indoor dining, there are barstools at the kitchen counter for smaller meals, a dining table that seats 8 or 9 in the kitchen, and a bar table in the living room with seating for 4.

ENTERTAINMENT INDOORS: We aim to provide all the ingredients for everyone to have fun and be entertained while inside the home. The game room has a ping pong table, Roku TV, card table, puzzles, and games. The main living area has a Bluetooth speaker and Roku TV, while one of the bedrooms on the main floor, and the upper floor loft feature TVs with streaming capabilities. The whole house also has wifi for use on all your devices.

ENTERTAINMENT OUTDOORS: Outside, we are ready to facilitate your new favorite memories. The house has a wrap-around deck with chairs, benches, and a dining table, great for use in the summer and fall. Take your morning coffee or afternoon happy hour here, and you might even be visited by some local wildlife, common around dawn and dusk. You’ll also find a gas grill on this deck, great for use all year long. On the side deck is the hot tub, a great way to start the day, or unwind after a long day skiing, hiking, or just exploring the mountains. The property features a large yard where kids can make snowmen and have snowball fights in the winter, or just play all day in the mild summer weather.

LAUNDRY ROOM/MUD ROOM: You may enter the house from the garage where there are hooks for coats and mats for boots, or from the front door, where a hall closet provides space for coats and rubber mats for boots. We have a front-load washer and dryer with provided detergent and dryer sheets on the bottom floor.

PARKING/GARAGE: When you get to the house, we have several parking areas. If you arrive in multiple cars or in the winter, you may park closer to the road if you desire. This house has a garage for you to enter/exit, but please do not utilize this space to park your vehicle.
