Charming victorian, walking distance to downtown, restaurants, and wineries.
100 year old Victorian, once lived in by Robert Mondavi. The house is down the street from the popular Farmstead Restaurant and walking distance to wineries and downtown St Helena. Enjoy all that the wine country has to offer from the comfort of your own home, while enjoying the pool, spa and barbecue. This home has been enjoyed by the owner and her friends and family for over 25 years. My home has 3 bedrooms, 1 king and 2 queens. There is also an upstairs loft, with a trundle bed perfect for older kids! Please see house rules. No large gatherings, maximum 6 people unless otherwised agreed upon. Please note that there is no AC or Heat in the loft or living room of the guesthouse. There is central HVAC in main house (new unit installed in 2021) and a split unit in the bedroom of the guesthouse. There are also ceiling fans in master bedroom, and both bedroom and living room of guesthouse. Permit # PL24-025

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
If there is excessive trash and food, please take out. Trash cans are halfway down the driveway. We do encourage putting recycling in the blue can (no plastic bags).
If time permits, start a load of towels. It helps my housekeeper when there is a lot of laundry to turnover the house for the next rental.
Please lock all doors, close all windows, and turn off the AC in both the guesthouse and house.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please respect my neighbors and the 10pm cutoff for using the spa and pool. I am a permit holder, and must abide by the city rules.
The fireplace is non-working
No more than 6 people are allowed to stay at the house, and if any rules are broken, your security deposit and stay may be at risk.

Beautiful, clean Victorian home close to everything in St. Helena. We were a party of only 3 persons using just 2 bedrooms, but the house would easily accommodate 6. Great pool and hot tub. Owner was very responsive to our questions. Would gladly rent this house again!
Very clean and within walking distance of so much - very comfortable. Everyone had a great time and the hot tub was very enjoyable after a day of exploration
Property had many amenities. Clean and easy to walk to town. Farmstead is down the street. Must go to Italian market (Naples Olive Oil)When we went hot tub worked fine just had to punch a code in every time to turn on and off. Owner says she is fixing it.
Enjoyed a family stay celebrating our 50th anniversary. Convenient location, lovely home, quiet neighborhood, clean and well appointed. Excellent restaurants close by, short stroll to St. Helena downtown.
This lovely old house was in the perfect location. Coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance, large rooms and lovely outdoor porches. It was stocked with everything for a small group - dining, entertainment and spa. Would love to come back and highly recommend it.
The house was delightful, well maintained, and had all the kitchen amenities that enabled us to visit Napa wineries but also cook at home. Pool and spa was an excellent house feature and was enjoyed every day. Compliments to the property owner.
What a charming home! It was perfect for 3 couples enjoying a weekend of wine tasting. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and the house has plenty of space to spread out. The backyard was an excellent place to relax and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and we liked being able to walk to town for shopping and dinner. House was equipped with all the amenities we needed and was very clean. Highly recommend this home!
Susan’s home was wonderful in the heart of St Helena. The home was on a nice quiet street with plenty of parking. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and the bedrooms/bathrooms were all in great shape. We especially loved the pool/hot tub. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing trip to Napa valley.

Highly recommend this lovely, farm-like house with lots of character. More space than we needed, but nice to have it. Couldn't beat the location. It has everything you need for a wonderful family stay!

Why they chose this property
This 100+ year old Victorian has created amazing memories for so many. When I lived in the bay area, I would spend every weekend at my house, with guests from all over. Everyone who has stayed here feels my home is such a special place. The convenience to walk to town is huge bonus. No need to get in the car, if you don't want to, plenty of restaurants and wineries near by. I know you'll love my home as much as me and friends and family do!
