Enjoyed staying here. We thought the location was good and my daughter loved the bed. The kitchen was fine. The hot water supply could maybe be improved a touch, but it was adequate. Overall excellent.

Stay at Palo Alto for a Stanford program

Excellent location. Close to Stanford and Palo Alto downtown. Amenities were fantastic. Highly recommended.

Couldn't ask for more

The cottage was perfect for our visit! Tracy anticipated almost every need and was easy to get in touch with when necessary. The neighborhood is quiet and it was easy to get to Stanford as well as various shops and restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again.

The cottage is very efficient and quiet -it felt like I was in a nice apartment in Europe - and served as a good work space in addition to being all that was needed for a week's stay by one person. Tracy and her husband were great to work with. Will definitely stay again when I am back in the area. Thanks!

Clean, peaceful, pretty and well-appointed

We were so happy here. This lovely accommodation had everything we needed; a kitchen stocked with appliances, dishes, electric tea kettle, blender, etc. , the beds were so comfy, we loved the air conditioning, the neighborhood is peaceful and the decor in the cottage is so pretty. Oh! We loved the electronic desks! So useful!

The "Cottage" is well designed and has everything you need in a short-term rental. Well appointed small kitchen with breakfast bar. Bathroom was clean with a shower stall and large vanity. Good internet and 2-desks for working. All relatively new and clean. Located in a nice Palo Alto neighborhood within walking distance to downtown. Host was great. Stayed for 14-days and will stay there again.

Great clean and quiet location close to town

The Cottage was perfect! Clean, so comfortable and the design and care put into it makes the small footprint live large. Very comfortable for three adults in our family. The kitchen has everything - even an InstantPot. Super close to town. We walked everywhere and hardly used our rental car. We would definitely stay here again.

good value for the price

Very nice little place, lots of amenities. Beautiful neighborhood. Full kitchen, but since we only stayed two days, we ate out. Dining options in area are very good. Our only issue was couch in bedroom instead of living room where the TV was.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage while dropping our son off at Stanford. The property was extremely clean and Tracy was very responsive and accommodating. The location was fantastic in an upscale walkable neighborhood. We walked to downtown Palo Alto for coffee and meals every day. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect Location - Everything You Could Need

My son and I stayed at the cottage while looking at Santa Clara University, Stanford, and University of San Francisco. The location was perfect for all three. The cottage was tidy and clean, a pleasant place to stay overall. I worked from home while my son went for long runs (he's a distance runner) and found it perfect - great WiFi and working space. Plenty of light and amenities. The home owner was easy to communicate with and responsive. If my son goes to school in the area we will definitely be back!

Perfect for an important family stay

We were dropping off our son for his first year at Stanford, and so we wanted our last few hectic days together to be perfect. We loved staying here, and hope to do so again when we visit Palo Alto. It is immaculate with very comfy beds and stylish decor. There were places to truly unpack and the bathrooms and kitchen are stocked with everything you would need for a short stay. Tracy was the consummate host: the check-in details and instructions were very clear and she responded to any questions we had quickly and completely. It's in a great location: a converted garage apartment located in a very wealthy neighborhood.

The perfect place for our family!

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was just as it is advertised. It was clean and had good light. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed. The bathroom also had many things available that people might forget and need while traveling. The host was very responsive to my questions at the time of booking and once we arrived. I made a request just prior to checking in that wasn’t part of her normal protocol, but she very kindly accommodated the request. We will absolutely stay here again when we are in the area.
