Both retired, business operators, love travelling around Australia, entertaining friends and family when we’re home.

Why they chose this property

We both have loved the River Murray all our lives. Purchased the vacant allotment in 2000 built the main house in 2002. Built the poolside (guesthouse) in 2008 only recently adapted the pool room into a guesthouse.
We can’t see ourselves living anywhere else the view is mesmerising the surrounding area quiet and friendly. Access to the city or other major centres is a short travel on the highway.
We own a party (pontoon) boat that we can moor right in front of our house, invite friends along and go up river stop for lunch at our favourite restaurant and party home. We’ve even spent a enjoyable 2 weeks boating up to Loxton and back, found a new favourite winery on our way home even. Next boat journey we plan will be across lake Alexandrina to Goolwa explore the waterways around the mouth end of the river and more.
Our home is the perfect start and finish to any escape we can wish for.
