We would stay here again if given the chance. Very helpful and friendly host. The place was just close enough to everything but felt like your own little private cottage and so relaxing. Everything was very clean and well stocked with anything you could possibly need. We would highly recommend these hostess
Cottage was cozy and comfortable and quiet. We had everything we needed!
Corky and Dave were so very nice.
If in area again, we would stay again.
Thank you again!
Very enjoyable stay, secluded near the woods. Had all the important amenities of home, very cozy. Centrally located for our travels. Hosts were very pleasant. Loved all the wildlife at the several bird feeders. Would go back there again.
Good location for us, golf and grocery store nearby. Fan in bedroom needs to be replaced. It was too noisy to use at night. Would have been nice to have patio furniture cleaned as it was dirty enough we couldn't really use it. Main con was there are no curtains on the windows in the living and kitchen areas so people staying in the main house can easily see into the cottage at night. The bedroom had shutters so was private.
This was just perfect for our little getaway. Sweet, little cottage with a full kitchen (with all the amenities you could need), comfy bed, lovely surroundings. It was really close to Squires Castle-just a few minutes drive. We took a wonderful stroll in the woods and hills and looked around the 'castle.' Back at the cottage we enjoyed the little patio and saw lots of wildlife. It was refreshing, quiet, private, and cute.
This cottage is the perfect getaway for 2 people. Corky greeted us and had a bottle of wine ready on the counter for when we arrived. She was very helpful and was available when we had a question. Hands down one of the best VRBO properties I've been in in the last decade. Only 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland. Highly recommend this property.

Rude host
We have rented vacation homes through VRBO several times and never experienced such a rude and disrespecful host. Her responses from the get go were uncalled for. I asked her to provide the address and in all caps she said CANT YOU READ? The email was reviewed by both of us who stayed there and the address was not in the communication she referenced. There was a handheld shower head and it broke. The hose broke right at the neck. We were able to re attach but next day it broke again this time some rusty pieces broke off. Mark came over and apologized and said it was time to replace and this would force him to replace it. We had to go next door to shower. Next communication from Corky was we were being charged $100 for the showerhead and the cost of the plumber. It was the hose that broke from the stem. I responded telling her that it needed to be replaced. Her response of course was that it was not old. She also said she blocked us from renting from her again and she has plenty of return customer's and she doesn't need slobs and people who can't read directions or understand the time and effort it takes to do this. She closed with I would suggest you stay in a hotel next time so others can pick up after you. We emptied all the trash cans, did all the dishes wiped out the sinks and made sure the house back in order. Her communication was unprofessional, rude, crude uncalled for and unacceptable.
We stayed at the cottage while visiting a family member at Breckenridge, which is only a five-minute drive away. The location is convenient not only to downtown Willoughby, but also to I-90, I-271, and routes 91 and 2. Corky and Mark are welcoming hosts. We will stay here again.

Beautiful property and area. Attentive owner. Wonderful stay. Would enjoy to stay here again.
Stayed to visit family, but also to get away. Was perfected. Nicely maintained property. Very private and tranquil, but still close to everything you would need.
A lovely, clean and quiet cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and grocery stores within a short drive. The hosts have all the amenities you would possibly need during your stay. I would definitely book this quaint cottage again.
The cottage is small--but Corky makes that very clear. If you are okay with "small," then you'll really like this place for you and at most one other person. It is in a lovely setting, the decorations are really nice, the kitchen has plenty of dishes, pans, and cutlery, and the bed is comfy. All in all, the two of us quite enjoyed our stay.
The location and property are spectacular. We can not say enough positive things about our stay! I highly recommend this property for your next trip to Cleveland!
Little details inside the cottage furnishings make it a very cozy, English-style retreat. Great eye for decorating! With a setting under very tall trees, and a landscape of flowers, the tranquil surroundings are "disturbed" only by birds, chipmunks and rabbits foraging under the bird feeders. All necessities were provided, although I didn't require much. Wish I could have stayed longer!
I was blown away at the beauty of the adorable house and its natural surroundings. This is the perfect place to relax - the placement of this house creates the feeling of being secluded, yet the location of the house is close to everything a person could need. I didn't want to leave!
The kitchen was well stocked with plates and silverware, as well as pots, pans, and utensils for cooking. Loved the breakfast bar. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. It was the perfect anniversary get away for us. Corky and Mark met us when we got there and made sure we had what we needed. We will definitely be back this summer. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful cottage.
This was perfect for me: needed a place to relax and feel very safe after my car broke down, following dangerous work. It was private, yet the owners live very close by. The home is older and the floor uneven, but the sweet touches of Strawberry art and adorable dishes made it delightful rather than drab. The new bed
and sofa could not have been more comfortable. It was very clean, good lighting, and the kitchen, although not very big was perfect size for cooking and hanging out. I would defintiely stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Corky Miller-Strong
I am a teacher and own the home directly next door. I am doing this with my next door neighbor who owns the home and he lives in the main house. I work at a boarding school during the year and I have another friend who will help with any problems when I am a gone, but I am also very communicative and very reachable.
Why they chose this property
This is a storybook is nothing else like this in the area and I have put a great deal and time into making this the most charming place to be.
What makes this property unique
