Beach Bliss

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this lovely property. The location was perfect, close to the beach and local shops (within walking distance). Extremely private and peaceful, waking up and going to bed with the sound of the ocean was divine! The house was spacious, with plenty of room for everyone and also areas of privacy for individuals. Guests well catered for and it was convenient being able to bring our dogs along to share in the beach stay. Perfect weather to walk and swim at the beach and very dog friendly surroundings. We felt very relaxed and welcome and appreciated the comfy beds, luxury bathrooms and all mod cons provided (Netflix, stereo, airconditioning etc,). Would be great to have a couple of bikes to discover the surrounding neighborhood. Only wished we could have stayed longer, as we didn't want to leave! Would highly recommend and definitely want to come back and stay in the future!! Thank you Gillian for sharing your lovely home with us, we appreciated it very much!!

Lovely Modern House

We recently stayed at 48 Boardrider Crescent and really enjoyed our stay. The location right next to the beach path with your own access gate was fantastic.The house was well maintained and modern. The only 2 issues we had with this house was there was only 1 TV in the whole house. Having 3 kids this was very annoying as there was only 1 lounge area for all of us with no where for kids (or adults) to retreat to and watch something different. The other issue is there is no ducted air conditioning. There is an air conditioner downstairs which works well to cool the downstairs area and the main bedroom also has an air conditioner, however the other 2 upstairs bedrooms were unbearably hot. We had very hot weather whilst we were there and the 2 upstairs bedrooms were unusable. 2 of my children slept in the bedroom downstairs and one had to sleep on the lounge as there was no way they could use the bedrooms upstairs. Im sure this would not be a problem in the cooler months, and even when we had a few days of rain the bedrooms did cool down enough for them to sleep for a few nights. All in all we had a lovely time and just dealt with the few problems we encountered, however I would not book that house again if we went at that time of year.

Great location but worn property which needs a lot of TLC

This property has its own gate access to the path the beach and the kitchen is generously stoked with utensils. The cleanliness of the property was the downfall. The pool did not look enticing as it was covered with leaves, leaves and slime looking stuff on the bottom of the pool as well as bugs in the pool. The main bedroom and ensuit had mould in the top of the bathroom windows and mildew on the curtains in the main bedroom. The property just looked a bit worse for wear and it’s disappointing with the amount of money we paid.

Lovely spot! Very quiet and the walk to the beach was lovely!

The house itself was lovely! Unfortunately there was dog poo on the pavers near the pool which wasn’t nice as we had young children there! Apart from that it was lovely! Loved the fact that there was glad wrap and foil and cleaning products! Finally!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect house for our 2 families and our dog. Great having a swimming pool to relax in at the end of the day. Location perfect as you don’t need to hop in the car to go to the beach,walk out the side gate and on the path to the sand! Nice little extras in the kitchen which were very handy. On the whole a great vacation had by all. It was our second year back!

Great house for large family. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, beautiful furnishings, great location. A lot of thought went into furnishing this property, it was absolutely stunning. Only whinge is the airconditioning. There really should be one in each bedroom, but we survived and will return there again!

Wonderful property!

This house was amazing, we didn't want to leave! It was spotlessly clean, roomy, comfortable and the furnishings were absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with more gadgets than I have at home. The pool was an added bonus too, and we spent many hours swimming. The only complaint I would have is the airconditioning. There really needs to be airconditioning in all the bedrooms. But we survived and looking forward to going back again in the future.
