This is a private spot, and it was comfortable inside & out. Air conditioning made the hottest hours quite pleasant, but I had the windows open most of the time for the cool late July breeze. I would highly recommend this property.
the driveway could have been marked better or the mailbox more visible. We came in during the night so it was dark and since you cant see it from the road and the entrance looks like it is a farmers access to a field we were confused. Location and view in the daylight was great.
If you're looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. This is a clean, comfortable and well equipped home. It's tucked away on a hill side with a lovely covered porch and beautiful views. We didn't get to use the fire pit as it was stormy during our stay but the large bay window made viewing them fantastic.
We had to come to Cooperstown for my son's baseball tournament and this place was amazing!! Its about 30 mins to Dreams park but worth the drive and scenery. The place is just as stated on the descriptions. We saw some deers, foxx, goats, and beautiful other animals. This place was very comfortable and relaxing!!
Overall it was a great stay. The majority of the trip I was by myself while my kid was at Cooperstown with his team. It was secluded, quiet, and very peaceful.......just what I was looking for. Wifi worked just fine, but also had no issues with the cell either. I could see this place being just fine for a small family stay. No need for bottled water, as the tap water was better then filtered. If you're taking a shower and there is nobody else there, and you hear the noise from the kitchen, relax...it's the water pipe in the wall.lol. My only complaint was the "street light" out front. It was quite bright and affected my enjoyment of the porch at night, and having to take my telescope around to the dark side of the house. It would be just fine for most that would like the extra security of having the additional light, but I was hoping for the darkness the surrounding area provided. The ding for communication was due to me sending a question to the owner through VRBO that went unanswered. It didn't affect my stay, and I didn't have anything that came up that I had to contact them.
Great place to stay. Beautiful property and home away from town. Peaceful and quiet. Very clean. Only issue is that the window cranks are hard to use. They need replacing. Also instructions for smart TV should be provided. I would definitely rent again.
Although this cottage is small, it is very cozy and provides a wonderful quiet retreat from a busy lifestyle. We enjoyed the serene nature surrounding the cabin away from traffic and off the beaten path. Will definitely stay here again.
An excellent place to stay when visiting the Baseball hall of fame. The location is remote and peaceful. Beautiful views and a nice drive to Cooperstown. Highly recommend!
I stayed on this property 6/22 and it was gorgeous. It is set back off the road as described and the views from the farmers porch are incredible. We sat and watched the sun set each knight and there was a doe and her newborn feeding in the field in front of us. If you are looking for a quit get away in clean spacious home with a post card view I highly recommend this property.

Enjoyed the seclusion and quietness.nature all around!
This was the perfect getaway for a few days with my family of 4. The cabin is pretty basic, but it was comfortable. The real draw here is the property - my kids loved playing on the patio, running through the fields, playing ball in the yard, and stargazing at night.
very nice, clean, cute house with all the utensils in the kitchen, the only thing i wasn't completely happy with it was the sheets smell like sweat, but everything things else was perfect 👌
We stopped here for 2 nights on our way to Massachusetts, and visited Cooperstown. The home was absolutely picturesque, we kept catching ourselves staring out the window. Sleeping was cool and comfortable, and even with a storm blowing in to the area, had no issues with power, flooding or anything else. The check in instructions were clear and our host was incredibly responsive. A quick drive to Cooperstown and a great place for a family. So thankful to have such a great start to our road trip!
Gaze at the stars and the moon by fire at night or sit atop the hill in the morning to watch the sunrise over the land, fog gently swept across the fields below. If you sit on the porch and enjoy the silence, the faint sound of cows, horses and a rooster can be heard. If you need an escape from the chaos of a busy life, this place will certainly do.
