The apartment is on the 3rd floor (brand new elevator installed) of a beautifully renovated, protected building built in 1897 by Adolf Wittenstein, a wealthy fish and crayfish merchant (hence the extensive fish theme decoration on the facade).

The apartment kept some of the old heritage parts like the original wooden windows with brass handles and the heavy folding shutters, at the same time we wanted to create something really unique.

The floorplan incorporates the bedroom into the living room area (thanks to the high ceiling), there’s a flight of stairs leading to the queen size bed upstairs. The bathroom is under the sleeping area, the separate toilet is in the ante-room.

There’s plenty of storage room in the flat also a separate closet that would take all the clothes and accessories you’d have. The same room has a vanity table with mirror as well as high tech built in washer and dryer. The sitting area around the kitchen island can easily accommodate 4 people and the kitchen is fully equipped including induction hob, top class microwave and oven, also electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine, etc.
