Apartments Zora is a cozy, family-run vacation residency in the heart of Dalmatia. Located in the fishing village Okrug Gornji on the Ciovo peninsula we offer an ideal setup for a relaxing holiday with your family and friends. It was 1979 when my parents decided to look for a quiet place for a weekend getaway. Living in the city of Split they where craving for untouched nature, beautiful beaches and crystal blue see. They found their dream location in Okrug Gonji, a small fishing village on the Dalmatian peninsula Ciovo. During the eighties we built our own paradise, far away from the everyday noise and stress of the city. As the years passed by we opened our home to guests, redecorating it to an apartment villa. Nowadays it is not only our paradise any more, but the paradise of hundreds of families from all over the world that have joined us through the last decades. And while the apartments and facilities are constantly being renewed, some things always remain the same: the natural beauty of Okrug Gonji, and the fact that we, the Jelaska family, are personally looking after our guests to make their vacation a memorable one.

Okrug is located on the western side of the island Ciovo. It is divided into Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji , two traditional Dalmatian villages. It is the centre of the Dalmatian micro region by its geographical position. It has a mild Mediterranean climate, dense subtropical and Mediterranean vegetation, an archipelago of picturesque little islands, uncountable little bays and beaches. Okrug is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Croatia with its 2670 sunny hours per year. There are a lot of restaurants and taverns in Okrug Gornji and Donji with a rich choice of original Dalmatian specialities. We offer our guests, beside a lot of sun and the clear sea also various recreation contents. The nearness of Trogir (2 km), which is under protection of UNESCO, offers the possibility to discover the 2800 year old centre. You can enjoy there also the night life. You can make excursions from Ciovo to the waterfalls of the river Krka (60 km), to Split (33 km) and to the Marian Shrine in Medugorje (100km). It is significant that the Split airport is only 8 km away from our village.
