This amazing Mt. Hayden estate is only minutes from downtown Aspen. The home is just up Castle Creek Road that goes by our famous Aspen Valley Hospital and the Music School on the river. We all visit Colorado to get the feeling of the great outdoors and the Hayden Ranch Development has conserved the 300 acres of open space that include the old coke ovens from the 1890’s, hiking & biking trails, or fishing the beaver ponds or Castle Creek and viewing wildlife. This home is as much fun to live outside as inside. Built with logs and stone in a clean mountain architecture, it offers places to relax, read, play with children or just explore the history of this area. The main floor has the entertainment areas that include a wonderful great room with a floor to ceiling fireplace, an intimate but spacious dining room and a real chef’s kitchen that is ready to produce gourmet meals. Also on the main floor is the master bedroom with large walk in closets and gracious bathroom, mediation room, sitting room and guestroom/office. Just off the dining room the home was built with part of the historic history of the coke ovens built inside the house for an intimate wine room. There four bedrooms in total and 3 1/2 bathrooms plus a mud room shower. The 5,220 square foot home has a private drive through the trees that leads down to a two car garage and grand entry. This unit is only available monthly. Available for $65k a month
