Newly renovated cottage offers all of the amenities to make your vacation a success. The kitchen offers all new appliances, washer dryer, cooking utensils,pots/pans ect.. For a family dish enjoy the large brick BBQ pit, which once served as the local neighborhood pit over 100 years ago. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed, and balcony with a view of the trolly path and beautiful sunrises. The Secondary bedroom has two full size beds. The sun room features panoramic views of the yard. Parking is limited to the drive way and street.
The location is perfect for beach goers or those who desire the in town entertainment. The Galveston Pleasure Pier and Beach front is a quick walk from the home. The best Restaurants, shopping, and shows at the Historic Grand Opera House can be visited by horse drawn carriage. You truly get the best of both worlds!

The perfect house!

This property is located close to the seawall, in a nice & quiet neighborhood. Fully stocked kitchen if you plan on cooking at home & the rooms are very spacious! Highly recommend on booking this house & would revisit often!

Beautiful home in the Silk Stocking District

This home is located in the historic Silk Stocking District, conveniently located between downtown and the sea wall. The home is a beautifully restored historic home. It has all the amenities to make for a lovely vacation. We highly recommend.

A Real Gem!

Our second time staying here, and we loved it as much as we did the first time! Perfect location for getting to the beach and visiting the Strand. Plus, the trolly passes right by the house! Nancy is a very gracious host.

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful family getaway. The house was very clean, comfortable, and had historic charm. The two queen beds in the guest bedroom are perfect for siblings. We loved the location as it was close to the beach, as well as our favorite in-town eating spots (like Sunflower Bakery and Mosquito Cafe). The owners were very responsive and clearly are seasoned hosts. We will certainly stay here again!

Annual three - generation beach trip

We enjoyed a departure from our traditional beachfront house in this lovely piece of history. The house was immaculate and even though it is a piece of old Galveston history, all the amenities of today were available. The host was very helpful and the uniqueness of the location for our group encouraged us to try a few new adventures.
