Gerupuk Homestay - Surfers Chillout

We always dreamed of starting a surfers hostel. So we did. Located in the heart of this beautiful surfing and fishing village we are offering you accommodation that is simple and clean. We want to create an environment for you that is as close to home as possible. Designed by surfers for surfers. Locals Tommy and Ben run this homestay. Tommy is an accredited surf-coach and Ben is a Divemaster. Both have a lot of experience in outdoor adventures and will go out of their way to make you laugh and smile for the whole trip (that is unless you get smashed by big waves) and then you probably won't be laughing - but they might. Come and chill with us. We're here to have a good time too.

ROOMS
Fully ensuited rooms with queen beds and a common lounge area to chill out in. We have created this place in the spirit that guests will make life long friends. Board games for everyone to enjoy together, snorkelling gear, a small library, guitar and movies to watch on the 43" TV and home theatre. There is a restaurant upstairs (not our own restaurant) and its run by one of the regions most well known chefs producing some truly delicious local food!

Interaction with guests

As this is a small space - expect to spend a lot of your time with other guests as it is designed for people who want to mingle and meet new people. We will make every effort to include guests in cultural events around the village as well. Ben our director runs tours so if you need information just ask.

Other things to note

No noise after 9:30pm as we do not want to upset other guests and the premises also backs up to another villages home so we are very strict on this rule.
