Nestled in the village of Marokopa, perfect place to explore west Waikato. Not far to spend the day exploring the local caves around Waitomo, visit The Natural Bridge and the Marokopa Falls or head round the coast to visit Kawhia. Great fishing and white-baiting.

Perfect base for exploring

Lots of room. Great facilities. Property manager gave us some excellent ideas of things to do in the area and left a little goody bundle for us. Amazing shower - just what was needed after a days hiking. Super comfy. Absolutely would recommend.

Great spot for a break from workload

We came all the way out here to escape the busy lives we lead and to recharge .The bach is great and has everything you need which means you dont need to pack as much as you normally need.

The house was just perfect for our whānau. Not too new or perfect which made us feel more comfortable and not stress about everything on the whare. So close to the beach and camp ground. Beds all comfortable also. Would definitely stay again.

Welcoming seaside bach with excellent fire for cool winter nights. Fenced for dogs. Host Lucy was attentive to redressing a minor error in dates and ensuring we were well-cared-for. Renovations well underway and when completed should update all facilities to a good quality standard. Would return!

Scenery, WOW

It may be well off the beaten track but the drive to the back alone bought a couple of draw dropping moments that had us saying wow in unison. The walks along the beach at low tide were amazing. The west coast is so dramatic. We enjoyed the area and the relaxation that came from getting away from it all.

Why they chose this property

Our bach is our little getaway close to home. We bought it just before starting our family. When we bought it, it needed a fair amount of TLC. We are slowly working to making it our own, with the help of your bookings, hopefully we can keep up our hard work.
