AC and Property Description

Location was perfect with ample room for two adults and two teens. However the second bedroom had no air conditioning and was not habitable even with the door open. Our teen daughters had to abandon the room and sleep on the couch. The air conditioner in the kitchen/ living room is not powerful enough to cool that room plus the second bedroom when the room’s door is left open. The second room really needs its own air conditioner unit. Also the VRBO description listed a dishwasher and a clothes dryer which do not exist. There was no paper left out documenting anything about the unit including the WiFi password. There was no broom for us to sweep sand which made it in from going to the beach. No sheets were available for the pullout couch the first night. We had to request them the second day along with the WiFi password. At the low price we did get our money’s worth. We are leaving these comments to help improve for future guests.

Steps from the beach....

The location of the apartment was very good and having a kitchen and air conditioning was very good. The check-in process was not as smooth as it could have been, but after a bit of texting, we got in the apartment. The beach and sunset views were nice, but a little rocky Beach im Agia Marina. A 5 minute drive East has softer sand beaches in a town called Stavros, so this apartment location works well. There are also a ton of reataurant choices all walking distance and delicious. About 60% of stores and restaurants were open mid-June with more and more opening every day. Crete is beautiful and Chania is a fun area to explore too!
