Rockridge: enjoy unobstructed panoramic views of the majestic Monashee Mountains from nearly every room in this luxury slope side chalet. Conveniently located in Rock Ridges Estates right on Hummingbird ski run and just 150 metres from Big White Village, the home boasts 4 bedrooms in 2240 square feet. built in the Arts and Crafts style this is truly a beautiful property.

You will be enchanted by the well stocked kitchen, the 200 year old wood floors, the hand pounded iron railings and the sumptuous linens. The estate offers more than enough room for 10 adults to sleep eat and relax in comfort and style. And the location is quite simply impossible to beat.

This 4 bedroom house has exceptional views and direct ski in and ski out access. Located on Rockridge Road, a cul de sac, Rockridge is only a 2-3 minutes walk to the village. A lock up undercover garage for one car with room out the front for 2 additional cars. On the main level is the kitchen, dining room and main living area. Up one level are two bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms. The master ensuite has a steam shower. On the lower level, there are two further bedrooms with a share bathroom. There is also a second living area, ideal for kids getaway as there is a second TV with Sony playstations and loads of games. On this level there is a large drying room with laundry, washing machine and dryer.

Ski Access: ski directly to your back door from Woodcutter run. To get to the run, it is a 20 metre walk either out the back door or from the front door. There is ski storage at both back door and front door.

Summer Access: Fly screens on windows, garage for bike storage, amazing view, balcony upstairs to relax whilst absorbing the views and sipping on a glass of wine. There is also a BBQ for use on the balcony off the dining room.

The house was terrific with four spacious bedrooms and two separate living areas. The views from the hot tub were incredible and watching the sunset whilst relaxing after a hard day of skiing was unbeatable. The ski run is just outside the back door, pop your skis on and off you go! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a rental property and there were plenty of games for the kids! Wonderful Space

Had a great week at Big White staying in this space. Beautiful layout, lots of space, and a top notch location providing easy ski in and ski out access to runs as well as being in walking distance to the village. Highly recommend.

Wonderful in every way!

Awesome Big White Adventure

After almost 20 stays at Big White, we finally found the one that we would consider buying. This is a great space for a family, amazing views and very easy access to the slopes. The house was stocked with all the necessary items, all we needed to add was fresh food and we snuggled in for a great 9 days.

This place was wonderful. Very nice and clean home. The ski in ski out was perfect! Lots of space for me and my friends, the hottub was big. It had everything we needed. I would be happy to stay here again! :)

Great Place

We stayed with 2 families of 4 and the house easily accommodated us with the two living areas and multiple sleeping options. It had a better equipped kitchen then you find at most rentals and the oversized laundry was fantastic for hanging up all the ski jackets, pants and boots, helmets, etc. Property manager reached out proactively prior to arrival and was very responsive. We look forward to staying here again.

Best place on the mountain!

This our second time staying at this amazing property. We absolutely loved it. It is in a great location, easy walk to the village, and on the Woodcutter ski run to three chair lifts. The beds a super comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and it is very warm. The views must be some of the best on the mountain. We spent every afternoon in the hot tub soaking up the beautiful mountain views. The drying room is great to dry all your ski gear overnight. I highly recommend staying here.

Great times!!

From the time we booked to the time we left Alison the caretaker was so accommodating the owners are so lucky to have someone that cares about the property and guests so much. We were a family of 10 and everything went smooth the unit was clean and the ski in ski out conditions was great. It is a great unit and close to the village for all activities.

Don’t wait…BOOK!

This place was spectacular! Proximity to the village, ski in/out, hot tub, space and there was even treats waiting for us! There were 4 adults and 3 teens; we all had more than enough space. Wi-Fi was a little issue when we got there but property manager was quick to help. A true 5 star place!

Perfect location

We loved the property. So close to the ski run. Had all the amenities we needed. Perfect size for 9 of us. My only negative would be that the second master was on the lower floor where our teens hung out. And the second ensuite was attached to the twin room upstairs , very minor details but when you travel with teens, separation is a plus! In general, great property!

Hello! Our names are Anna and Pete and we have three boys. We first travelled from Australia to Big White Ski Resort in 2015 and coincidently rented this house! We shared the house with my sister and her three girls and thought it was fabulous - so fabulous that in 2018, when it came onto the market, we purchased it!

We are avid skiers and thrive in the snow! We love Big White as the snow is incredible and so dry! We have now been back to Big White several times, staying all over the mountain, down in one of the Edge properties, in this house, also the house next door, in happy valley and over in snow pines. All properties were gorgeous but nothing compares to the location of Rockridge.

Why they chose this property

Location, space and views. We stayed here as renters in our first visit to Big White and just fell in love with the space, the views and the location. The house is ski in and ski out and in such close proximity to the village, we just couldn’t resist when it came onto the market. In addition, our place is a duplex with its own entrance, spa, garage, ski room etc. There are NO shared facilities in this property with the house next door. All linens are washed with disinfectant between guests and all soft furnishings are sprayed with disinfectant. In addition, all surfaces are wiped with disinfectant. Our cleaner follows all protocol required for safe and effective cleaning according to local laws.

What makes this property unique

The sunrise and sunsets are truly beautiful and the mountains can be seen from most rooms. The location is unsurpassable - a quick 200m walk to the village or bypass the village altogether and simply ski off down Woodcutters run. The house has undercover parking and room for three cars outside, in addition to beds for ten people. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need during your stay.
