Wonderful property in Pohara. We stayed for 6 nights and loved it. Very well equipped with an amazing outdoor area that can be opened up or closed in depending on the weather. Beach is just across the road and down a little allyway and there are a number of bars/restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Overall one of the best places we have stayed.
Such a perfect for our weekend away! Everything we needed was there. The house was well presented, tidy, and clean! Warm and cosy during the cooler evenings. Big garden for the kids to run around. Just perfect - we didn’t want to leave.
Nice clean compact house. We liked the outside covered deck. The onlt disadvantage is the traffic noise. Beds ok but a bit too soft.. great bathroom and kichen.can take your wTer bottles tp the campground to fill at the kitchen there. Not too far from Tata Beach forgood swimming.
Short walk to lovely Pohara beach and quick drive to Tata beach. Both great places to swim which we did daily sometimes twice. Long beach walks in the morning and evening, glorious sunsets and some wonderful meals - home cooked, local venues and in nearby Takaka. Well appointed home with good linen and staple supplies. Obviously a well loved treasured family Bach.
