Taits Beach House Barwon Heads

Taits Beach House is conveniently located short walking distance to the Barwon river and boardwalks, boat ramp, Pirate Park, Skate Park, bowls club and tennis club. A 20 minute walk will have you in the center of town, at the River Park or Raffs beach.

The House is fully furnished with a newly renovated modern interior. It comfortably sleeps 8 (plus an additional trundle bed), with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Inside is a light filled living area complete with a brand new kitchen, open fire place and sliding doors opening onto a large covered deck. A second living area may be used as a playroom / kids TV room or 5th bedroom. Evaporative cooling and ducted heating provides year round comfort. Outside is a secure, north facing sun drenched backyard including a large grassed area with trampoline, monkey bars / swing set and veggie patches for the kids. The covered decking and fire pit area are the perfect spots for relaxing. There is a long secured carport for a boat and car, along with another two off-street car parks. This is our family home and you will find it well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay including toys, books, games and lego for the kids. This house is perfect for couples or families looking to unwind and relax in the beautiful beach side town of Barwon Heads.

Great family getaway

The house is perfect for a family getaway. Plenty of space for the kids, plenty of toys for them and a great back yard space. Overall great house to stay and relax and enjoy what Barwon has to offer.

Wonderful Home for Family Holidays

Pluses - Gift pack on arrival Spacious Excellent kitchen and oven clean Fabulous play area for kids Very comfortable Plenty of parking Pets were welcome Wi-fi Well loved home TV’s all around Bikes to use Lovely gardens Minuses I had to clean the following- Mould in ensuite shower BBQ no gas and dirty Washing machine had sticks,stones and dirt in rubber seal The mattress cover in the main bedroom was filthy - I soaked and washed it. Stove top had to be cleaned on hot plates Strong urine smell in small bedroom Under beds very dirty Carpets need cleaning We cleaned the filters on the vacuum cleaner Crockery was very chipped which is not hygienic I feel that if you are offering your own home for holiday letting them an industrial clean including carpets is a must. I offer comments as constructive criticism. We really enjoyed our time in the home.

Very nice house with great backyard

We had a great week in this house. Our dog loved the backyard and walks to the river. Beautiful master bedroom and ensuite. Marvellous kitchen and sunny living area.

Property was big on design features but short on creature comforts and cleanliness.

Tait's Beach house is nice looking property in a good location with great access to everything. The property manager was good to deal with, however the house lack certain essentials (bedside lamps in master or any other room, oven trays; salad/serving bowls etc) & cleanliness of the property was disappointing particularly the towels (which smelt dank & had holes in some), the ensuite shower had mould and the main bathroom (which was not photographed) was a complete let down (50 years old or more and never renovated) and some things mentioned on the list were not included, which means you had to spend a whole lot more than the already expensive price of the property.

Perfect family getaway

The best accommodation we’ve stayed in as a young family! All the creature comforts of home, including LOADS of toys to keep the little one occupied. Huge house, clean, modern, comfortable and we had everything we needed. Thankyou for making our much needed getaway so perfect!

Perfect Family Home

This property is the perfect family holiday house. Plenty of space, all on one level and an abundance of kids toys. Can’t recommend this house enough.

Wonderful family home, well thought out and super functional

Our family has had a wonderful stay at Taits Beach House. Everything is on hand within the house and in the town of Barwon Heads to create a fantastic beach holiday for kids. Town, beaches and the river are close by for varied activities. We spent a lot of time at the local skatepark and park which is a fantastic activity precinct. The house had everything we needed, was comfortable and a homely space we could really enjoy. The additional use of the kids toys was s real plus for my similarly aged children. Thank you Taits Beach House it was a great stay and change of pace for this farming family.
