Our spacious garden suite is fully furnished so you can relax comfortably after a day of adventuring in picturesque Deep Cove. Minutes from skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, ice skating, mountain biking, kayaking, and a quaint seaside shopping district with funky independent stores and amazing restaurants. Want to check out the city? Just a 20-minute drive to downtown Vancouver.
We have plenty of on-street parking for our guests and are a half-block to the bus stop.

Convenient.

I had a wonderful stay at Julia's place, located on the quite street. Spacious living room , comfortable bedroom, and full size kitchen, just like staying at home. So close to many shopping plazas, restaurants, coffee shops, and other services within 6 kms. Scenic Deep Cove just minutes away. Good running, and jogging around the area with some challenge incline streets. Thank you Julia.

Amazing location, great hosts, just like home!

The suite was perfect! In a great location near Deep Cove and just 20-30 minutes from Vancouver. It felt just like home with all the great comforts. Julia and Justin were amazing host. Never bothered my family and I. Everything we needed was in the home. My family and I went to Canada for the first time for a vacation and I'm happy to say we were lucky to have booked a great suite. Truly made our Canada trip worth it and even more enjoyable. A return to Canada is a must and definitely would love to book our stay with Julia and Justin again.

Wonderful stay in Deep Cove , Vancouver

While visiting family in Vancouver we stayed a month with Julia and Justin in our dear little “ home” in DeepCove My husband and I were absolutely delighted to find somewhere close to them, and at a very reasonable price, and the home was so lovely to stay in Julia and Justin are lovely hosts , non intrusive to our daily routine, the apartment has everything anyone could want , extremely comfortable bed , excellent wifi , always a winner when so far from home ( Australia) You do get a little noise from the upstairs but nothing to worry anyone and very quiet at night We were able to walk to our grandsons school to collect him most afternoons, and Julia quite happy for him to come back to play for an hour or two , which we greatly appreciated We elected not to have a car on this trip, nd the apartment is wonderful for public transport everywhere, two bus lines , 211 and 212 , one for the road below us and one above, busses frequent and an easy ride to Deep cove( but an even better walk as you can go through parks all the way) plus to city by bus or enjoy the bus and Seabus option Deep cove itself remains a dear little village , overlooking the cove , lovely places to eat from breakfast onwards, We loved our stay with Julia and Justin, I am sure anyone would enjoy their stay in this lovely spot, the apartment, closeness ,,with in walking distance to a very good small shopping centre and lots further afield We will be back in 2023 Julia and wouldn’t stay anywhere else We thank you so much for having us and see you again Sandy and Ted 😘😘

Spacious, clean, and gorgeous area.

Accommodation is a bit dated but very large and clean. Lots of windows. Host family is extremely helpful and gracious. Best to have a car as it is 20-30 minutes from North Vancouver centre and from downtown Vancouver. However, there certainly is transit nearby. I really enjoyed staying there for the month.

Lovely home away from the hustle and bustle

When we booked this stay, we were thankful for the affordable location with everything we needed. We didn’t know that being out of the city would still leave us with such a great surrounding! We fell in love with a Deep Cove. The downstairs apartment itself is well cared for. The owners are very thoughtful with the items provided. We easily could have cooked all our meals, but we enjoyed the local restaurants too much! Our only confusion was not receiving an email ahead of time with instructions and additional information, but they were very responsive when we contacted them. We would definitely recommend this to others!

Awesome home base for north shore adventures

Quick and easy even for a first time VRBO'er. Property was exactly as described and pictured. Julia and Justin were great, non intrusive hosts. Great value! Would not hesitate to go back.

We are a fun-loving family of four who enjoy the outdoors. My husband grew up in the North Shore but I'm originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. We love Deep Cove and feel blessed to be able to raise our children in this natural paradise.

Why they chose this property

My husband grew up in the North shore and his family is here too. When we saw the panoramic views of the ocean and over to Burnaby Mountain, the home of Simon Fraser University, we knew it was the place we wanted to call home.

What makes this property unique

We are blessed to live in Deep Cove, an outdoor paradise surrounded by mountains and ocean that is just minutes from the city. Here's what locals would consider a good day.
Start with a hike up the Quarry Rock and enjoy a spectacular view of Indian Arm. After, get a table at nearby Honey Doughnuts & Goodies for a spectacular treat. (This is the place Kate Winselt raves about: "I pine for Honey's Doughnuts in Deep Cove!") Now that you're feeling re-energized, rent a kayak and enjoy the ocean scenery while you paddle. Ready to relax now? Deep Cove Brewers and Distillers serves up award-winning locally made beer and live music.

Visiting during the winter? We are located just minutes away from Mt. Seymour, a family-owned mountain that's a favourite with local skiers, snowboarders and snowshoers. Be sure to finish off your day on the slopes at the Rock Chute Bar & Grill for a plate of poutine and a cold one.
Plus, we are just two hours away from Whistler Blackcomb, one of the top ski destinations in the world.
