"Harmony" 300 years old cottage "Natura cottages"

Dear Susan, Thank you for taking the time to write all of the thoughts you had during your 17 nights stay at “Harmony” cottage which happens to be our guests favourite. Our cottages are indeed a “complex” of a small hamlet, build in the traditional way over 300 years ago by olive farmers to be used during their harvest. Our neighbour has only 6 ground floor cottages in total, in 2.000sqm plot !!! Most of our guests enjoy the charm of this style of living , as it is a authentic & unique and you can’t find it in many places … The valley of the white river is protected by the archeology department of Greece . Yes, I agree that you are walking in front of other cottages in order to reach Harmony cottage that actually has the advantage of only a few, to have a totally private patio, overlooking the olive groves and the Libyan sea… but all neighbours and guest are aware of how the structure of the area is, so it is their choice to come and stay here. Only new style Villas are build independently with private roads and fenced gardens that offer more privacy, but we are certainly not a villa … You visited Natura cottages in the end of September / beginning of October, so I can understand what you mean by saying that you would enjoy to get more direct sun in the private veranda other that the shade from the pergola provided… but if you consider that up to two weeks prior to your arrival there was a heat wave and the temperatures get very high in our area.. (this year we had temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius) so taking that under consideration you will appreciate how priceless the shade is… And indeed, if you wish to look at the stars you have to move your chair a few meters away to where the pergola ends. You could also have mention it us, that you wish for a spot to sunbathe and we would have suggested that you walk to the back side of the cottage to our olive grove. Last but not least, a nightly price of 50 euro is definitely not considered overpriced for the area , especially when you stay in a such a beautiful and authentically renovated cottage with all comforts, housekeeping and high speed internet as you describe yourself. For all the above reasons you were unsatisfied, if you had mentioned something during your 17 nights (!!!) stay we would have offered you a refund so you could have chosen a different accommodation for your holiday.
