About this property

Hawks Nest Forest House with a Pool

This comfortable family home is a 5 minute drive (15 min walk) to the beaches and shops. Lie in bed and look out at the trees, listen to the birds and hear the koalas at night. The property is pet friendly and is close to the river and backs onto a lovely forest with walking trail. It has an in ground swimming pool (not heated) and a great deck overlooking the forest. The home is entirely upstairs with external stairs to the covered front verandah. The backyard is fully fenced with stairs to the back verandah. There is a BBQ and fully equipped kitchen. There is a smart TV in the lounge and wifi throughout the home. Living areas are air conditioned and fans in bedrooms.
Bedrooms are 1 queen, 1 queen, 1 set children’s bunks with 1 single. Sleeps 7 plus additional self contained flat for an extra fee of $250 - sleeps 2 people, if needed.
Off street parking and room for the boat.
Prefer you to bring own sheets & towels but if unable then cost is $20 per person.
Full week bookings in summer school holidays.

What a lovely, spacious place for a group or family to enjoy the beach the river and nature. The house was very well stocked and decorated, in a quiet street in a friendly town. Close to everything, with a secure yard. Will definitely stay longer next time.

Hawks Nest retreat in the forest

Good house for a family holiday. Clean and with all required facilities. Not too far from the beach and the pool is great. The beach looks a bit dangerous for swimming but there's a patrolled section. Lovely long beach for long walks.

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate a birthday. Lovely property, spacious and homely. Pool was very clean and safely fenced, great garden for our dog, fully fenced. The kitchen was excellent and we cooked meals very easily and had all the utensils we needed. We loved it

A wonderful set up with lots of places to relax

Jen was wonderful to communicate with. Pool was beautiful clean and much enjoyed by the kids. Bush setting is lovely. A very comfortable house with everything you need. Recommend getting the linen which included beach towels too!

This was a great property to stay at. We had no issues at all. It was also very clean, inside and out (including pool). Jen was very responsive with any communication and even told us about markets happening in town that we wouldn't have otherwise known about. When we come back to the area we will be staying here again if available.

The Hawks Nest home used to be our family home and our kids went to the local Tea Gardens public school. We are grandparents now and live about 20 minutes away in a nearby rural area.
