Mississippi Getaway Vacation

This beautiful home met all of our needs, as I was booking I saw through pictures that it met all of our requirements for a rental, and the host was very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

A very nice place for our stay, close enough to Gulfport, Bay St. Louis and even New Orleans, but tucked away in a quiet location. Just a few suggestions; it was very hot out while we were there and the a/c could not keep up during the day, a few ceiling fans could cool the residence down and assist with the a/c. Next, even after scraping and pre-rinsing the dishes, the dishwasher did not get the dishes clean.Those were just minor suggestions and did not take away from the comfort of the house. We had a great time and the owners were easy to communicate with.

Casa Pura Vida

We were looking for a house within an easy drive of Slidell, LA. Casa Pura Vida fit the bill! We had a very comfortable stay. The house was clean and had a decent sized and stocked kitchen. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to enjoy the firepit.

Cute little house

The house was as pictured and ideal for our one night stay. Only issue we had was that the cleaning lady arrived at 10 am when our listing said that our check out was 11 am.

Very Clean

This is a well kept home that is very clean and smelled nice. Had a small issue with microwave which the host took care of right away. I was able to use the garage which was a plus.

Jerry was a great host! We evacuated from a Hurricane and were above average needy renters , honestly. Jerry was so very kind, spoke to me numerous times over the phone and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a home away from home - can’t thank them enough !

Would not recommend

The owner seems to be trying to charge a lot of extra money, after I booked. It was double booked so we could not get checked in one the first day. I had paid for a nearby hotel for my employees after he said he would reimburse, but he didn’t not reimburse the full total on the receipt I sent. After check out, he is saying it will need extra cleaning so I’m sure he can charge my company yet again. While they were there, a ladder was stolen out of the back of a truck. Couldn’t check the cameras for me, but definitely didn’t fail to tell me when it was offline. I will never rent this property again.
