The home is well furnished and well maintained. Accommodation excellent for multi generational family gathering. Although it has the benefit of a sea breeze all day and ceiling fans, air conditioning on really hot days would have been a benefit. Close proximity to shops. Fishing from the jetty out front and locally was great. Many restaurants close by. Angkasa at Budgewoi was a favourite. Beaches within 10 mins good for kids and adults. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.
We were a group of four senior ladies in the area for an all-weekend event at Long Jetty. A 25 minute drive time was very convenient. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen has an abundance of cookware. The pantry is stocked with an amazing number of items and was the first “pay it forward” one we have encountered. The ceiling fan in main bedroom needs attention, it’s periodic strange noise made it unusable, not a real problem at this time of year but it would be on really hot nights as only the living areas have air con. The view to the lake is great, saw lots of pelicans and black swans gliding by. Also plenty of bird life with resident butcherbirds singing frequently.
well presented, had everything we needed. The house is larger than the pictures show. Easy process.

Plenty of space
The floor plan of the house was excellent, as were the room sizes. The beds, dining and lounge furniture were super comfortable. Good outdoor setting, good size, secure backyard and a bonus being on the reserve.
The location was very convenient.
The cleaning needed improvement and some of the house fittings and fixtures need maintenance.
A note: bring toilet paper with you! Not sure what I expected .. but I guess I was expecting toilet paper in each bathroom along with a spare (full) toilet paper roll in each bathroom.
We booked this property for a bunch of friends to come up and celebrate our friend getting married & this house proved to be such a good setting. We loved it and can recommend to anyone looking for a house in this area. My only tip - no ironing board or iron so keep in mind! Although likely shirts and suits aren’t required in such a relaxed holiday spot so we didn’t hold it against our house :)

Not good value for money
Generally a good and spacious home, although was not well equipped. Firstly and rather oddly, we had to make our own beds; linen was folded on top of unmade beds. There was no hand soap in either bathroom and one roll of toilet paper between two bathrooms. In addition, there were not light globes in all rooms so my daughter’s bedroom and master bedrooms were completely without light. We transferred the light globe from the living room and shared the kitchen/ dining light for that area but it still made it quite dark. Less of an inconvenience was that the seal on the freezer door didn’t work when the fridge door closed (making the freezer unexpectedly open), so until we recognized this we were left without frozen cooler bricks for the next day’s esky trips. Other than this and the plates and cutlery being dirty (we had to rewash them before use)...we had an otherwise pleasant stay.
PS We were not advised neither garage would not be available for use so had to park our car and boat outside, unsecured
