S&K Getaway with heated pool & sauna

Beautiful location on a quiet road. Enjoy Granite countertops in bath and eat-in kitchen. Tiled kitchen floor with dishwasher, coffeemaker, oven, refrigerator, kitchen table and chairs. 6 person movie theatre chairs with lights, cup holders, trays and charging access. Large flat screen tv with,Amazon Prime etc. Large windows for wnderful light and views of surroundings. Personal air conditioning and heating controls. Shared code to garage side door access, private entrance from garage to stairwell and 1/2 bath leading to apartment. Closet with iron and ironing board, card table, sweeper, fire extinguisher, fire ladder.
Large studio apartment (approx 850 sq ft) with its own thermostat, eat-in kitchen (13.5 ft wide x 18.8 ft long), refrigerator , dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, air fryer ,large electric griddle.*Walmart Supercenter is less than 3 miles to stock up on your favorite food and drinks.
One full bath with shower and one half bath.
Six theatre chairs with large flat screen tv. (17.5 ft long x 13.5 ft wide. )
Bedroom nook (24 ft wide x 14.8 ft long) with one queen bed and twin bunk beds: 175 lb weight limit for each bunk bed). Closet and a mirrored stand to hang clothes/coats etc. Dresser for clothes storage. Blackout curtains for privacy on windows and for sleep.
New heated pool with controllable changing lights, outdoor music, new poolhouse with small refrigerator and access to patio, sauna and full bath all in the middle of farm fields and beautiful starry night skies.

**The pool is open and heated May-mid October.**
The pool closes at 11:00 pm. Diving board weight limit is 250lbs.
Heated pool with lights, poolhouse, sauna with full bath during seasonal months. Ping pong table, cornhole, basketball hoop, playhouse with slide and swings.

A sauna with full bath can be enjoyed by guests year-round. It is located on the side porch which is attached to the main house and off the pool deck but has its own private entrance, door code and complete privacy.

***If booked guests invite family/ friends to visit, there must be approval first by owners of property. Non-booked guests are to leave the property by 10:00 pm. There is a $25/person additional fee/ day (up to 3 people ) for use of the pool for non booked guests.
This fee must be paid before arrival of booked guests and is non-refundable.

Perfect summer weekend getaway!

The outdoor living space is even more beautiful in person than it is in the pictures! It was so quiet and relaxing - exactly what we were hoping for over the long holiday weekend. Karan and Steve have thought of everything and were very responsive and welcoming. Definitely would stay again and recommend for anyone that wants a summer escape with stunning pool, umbrellas, cushy lounge furniture options outside and inside the pool house - did not want to leave :) Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Wonderful Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a nice little getaway for our family. Very relaxing, peaceful & beautiful. The studio apartment was clean & had all that we needed - great accommodations for the four of us. We sat poolside in the AM with coffee from a local coffee house, then swam and played ping pong. Ordered out & had dinner on the patio. Ended our evenings watching a movie on the big screen TV in the apartment. We felt very welcomed & couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. Country Oasis

Our family had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the beautiful property and amenities, including the luxurious pool, pool house, outdoor lounging and eating areas, sauna, fire pit, theater style chairs for movie watching, and more. It was also not too far from Dayton to enjoy a day there. The hosts were lovely people and very helpful, going above and beyond. Questions were answered very quickly. Everything was very clean and there were plenty of fresh towels for the pool and sauna. Our only complaint was that the curtains in the bedroom area are not light blocking at all and even with eye masks there was a lot of light coming through (as well as light from appliances and things plugged in), making it harder to sleep if you’re used to it being very dark. The other curtains are heavier and it would be nice to have similar near the beds. Also, not a complaint, but we had never booked with VRBO and were surprised that the high damage deposit was actually charged to our card and then refunded within 10 days, instead of a hold placed like at a hotel. If anyone is turned off from booking due to this, I just wanted to mention that we did not have any issues having it automatically refunded. We very much enjoyed our relaxing country oasis getaway and would definitely book again!

Overall a great experience with pros and cons.

Pro's: Enjoyed our stay. Location was convenient for us to travel to Springfield and Dayton OH, and Williamstown KY for day trips. We love to stay at locations in farming areas and we enjoyed the beautiful views of the farm fields from our room. Host very helpful and friendly. Over the garage studio apartment is nicely decorated and clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the heated pool. Cons: The over-the-garage studio apartment has a kitchen area with countertop appliances for food preparation, no stove, which was challenging to prepare the meals we had planned. There is a small undercounter refrigerator, no freezer, which meant we could not refreeze our ice packs or buy any ice cream or have ice. Entry to the apartment is through the hosts garage, which felt awkward to walk around their parked vehicles when we came and went. The guest area has no door, just open steps, which felt insecure to not be able to lock our area when we slept or were not there.
