This newly built 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath vacation home sits in a quiet woodsy neighborhood a little over one mile from Lake Shasta and Shasta Dam and is Centrally located off of Lake Blvd less then 15 minutes from the city of Redding. This vacation rental offers a full service kitchen with breakfast bar and dining room area with French doors that open out to a large covered deck and BBQ area with dog friendly back yard. First floor also offers a living room with flat screen TV and queen size sofa bed. Second floor offers laundry room, full bathroom with bath tub and shower, large bedroom with flat screen smart TV and queen size bed, very private family/bedroom with double bed and smart tv, Minnie fridge and desk area.

Stay in Lake Shasta near Redding

The house was perfect for our Christmas celebration. We did all our own cooking, and drove a short distance to Redding for movie and church. It was very quiet, and a good meeting place for families in Oregon and California.

From having less rooms and bath, to unexpected cockroach guests, this place was far from what we expected or would consider the best Needs much improvement and advertised accurately

Ryan booked our home as one person stain for 3 days. He had multiple people stay at our home that was not listed in the reservation. We were only expecting one person. They left our home very dirty. I would not recommend this guest. Also he did not respect our house rules and did not communicate well

Shasta 2019

Jerry was very nice and helpful. Checkin process was unclear until we where actually onsite communicate was only thru messenger so was a bit of a delay and we had to wait at the property for 10 minutes or so. Not the end of the world just saying it so Jerry has opportunity to fix it before he gets that guest that makes a huge deal out of it. Great location house was nice, well stocked, and in a good location. There is few things unfinished. Flooring in kitchen, and on the stairs but still functional and was absolutely fine. Will definitely stay at Jerry’s place again. Thx J.

The pictures of house omit a lot

The pictures that I looked at in the ad on VRBO are accurate. They do not show that the house is in a bit of a remodel state. The kitchen floor is plywood . The kitchen counter is plywood with fabric covering it. The stairs are plywood. There is spackle spots on the walls and unfinished walls and door molding. The kitchen cabinet was dirty The experience was odd. We have used VRBO many times and have never experienced anything like this. It was disappointing and I have no recommendation for this property.

Nice Place But Needs Finishing

We enjoyed this house but after speaking to Jerry about the finishing that needed to be done he assured that he was in the process. We would have liked to have known beforehand about the kitchen floor being in the process of construction and the bare steps to upstairs being under construction. There were a few unfinished places on the walls with primer. He has had some setbacks and we understand but renters should be aware of this before making a decision on confirming a reservation. On the plus side it is a very nice house except for the living area is quite small. Nice kitchen and eating area and back yard and patio. The back yard needs some refreshing but it is in the middle of the winter. The 2nd bedroom is not private with no enclosure but the master bedroom is great! Both bathrooms are very nice! We would stay here again if and when everything is complete. Jerry was a good and helpful host and we wish him well.
