Designed and built by a farmer in 1985 for retirement this comfortable home has a spacious combined kitchen, dining and lounge area with reverse cycle air conditioning. Can cope with additional day visitors
Three bedrooms along centre passage way to garage sleep up to 8 persons.
Shower and toilet close by have hand rails for those less able.
Located in a normally quiet part of the town there is undercover parking with direct access from the garage on Second St. Additional parking alongside on Fourth St. has ready access via the full length back verandah that is sheltered from prevailing southerly winds.
Concrete street foot path from side gate to town facilities and beach - 5 to 10 minutes walk .
Stay 6 or 7 nights and only pay for 5.

Perfect for a family

Great clean property for our family, everything we needed was at hand (from washing machine to tissues to basic condiments to all crockery and cutlery), plenty of room for the kids to move and play.

The property is in a great central location between Whyalla and Pt Lincoln. House was tidy. Owner was very helpfull with any concerns.The canoes with life jackets was a fantastic option to explore the tidal creek.

arno bay retreat

property was a 60 s style home, exceptionally clean. Owner had left many provisions for our use. location was walking distance to beach and jetty. Host was easily contactable and responsive to our needs.

One or two bits of furniture may be from the 1950's (or even older) and a little the 1960's but most of the the house is mid 1980's. Things like the refrigerator well into the 2000's with progressive replacement of items as required e.g. main rainwater tank etc. in February 2021. More changes anticipated in the future to keep it fully functional / upgrade.

The lounge is high backed that I find very comfortable and easy to nod off in and prefer to those of normal height. The beds are fairly standard but the long term plan is to have a queen size bed in the main bedroom. Is it possible your prior shoulder surgery exacerbated the review comments? Although there are exceptions as a general rule the weather gets colder and windier around June and starts to warm up again in August. However being on Spencer Gulf Arno Bay does not get many frosty nights. Also being the western side in summer sea breezes are the norm and hot northerly winds are usually only for a short time prior cold front cool changes

Holiday in Arno Bay

A clean and tidy home. Very 70s and comfortable. The backyard is not family friendly unfortunately. Grateful for linen on beds and towels etc. we’ll stocked pantry if you want to use any items. Great location.
