Great Location

We played golf at Pebble Beach and this was perfect - only 5 miles away. Parking is a little tight but overall a great place.

Great Location and Fun Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Inn. The room was clean and had nice amenities like a Fan and Fireplace. The bathroom had a jetted tub. The furnishings were a bit worn and the bed creeked when you moved. The administrators were lovely and had good recommendations forwalks nearby, restaurants and things to do.A good place for the price.

Lovely Stay

The site was very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Rishi was very kind and helpful and even offered us an upgrade to a nicer room. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating and the site was quaint and quiet. The short walk to the beach and proximity to Cannery Row and Carmel make for a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this place. It's exceptional for the price.

Comfort with attention to details

Loved the Pacific Grove location and easy walk to the beach. The room had a few nice extras like a microwave and nightlight in the bathroom. Overall comfortable stay but it was unfortunately spoilt by our neighbours who woke us at 1:30 am laughing and talking outside our room while they had a smoke.

Great trip

The room is clean, adequate and quant. Nice fireplace (we needed it at night.) Located a walking distance to the beach for a beautiful Pacific sunset. Would recommend.

Clean and cheap place to stay near the aquarium

Pretty good place, especially if you're on a budget. Near the aquarium and a bunch of restaurants. The only drawback was slow and at times not working wifi.

A quiet, comfortable stay near Asilomar!

What a hidden gem! We came to stay while I had an author event locally and found this place lovely. I always appreciate hardwood floors, and there was a little kitchenette and sitting area that made it easy to kick our feet up.

Lovely property and SO clean

We loved our stay here. The property is lovely, in a great, quiet and nice location, and so so clean. Everything smelled so clean when walking in and every morning after housekeeping cleaned our room. The host who checked us in was so friendly and kind. We were there for our honeymoon and they even sent us up flowers, a fruit and cheese plate and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. I can't say enough good things about the property - would absolutely stay here again!

Rakesh and all the staff were very friendly the bed and pillows so soft and comfortable.

Highly recommended! We walked down to my favorite sunset beach and watch the sunrise. We had a great time for our stay there for valentines day/our 4year anniversary. ❤️

Immaculate room

This property was convenient to 17 mile drive, Carmel, and our drive up the coast for various sites. The room was large and comfortable with a cozy fireplace for chilly nights. Crisp, fresh linens and towels were bright white unlike some properties with "tired" linens that don't fit the bed. All the staff were friendly, attentive and eager to help!

Quaint.

It was very clean. Location was perfect. It was more like a nice motel than a VRBO. There was no kitchen, but there was a microwave and a refrigerator. Also, it had a comfortable couch and table with chairs. There was even a couple of chairs outside on the “porch”. Owner was a super nice guy! We would definitely stay here again.

Overpriced for what it is

This property was disappointing in the end as I feel it is way overpriced for what it is. Check-in was super friendly and efficient and the manager gifted me a bottle of wine upon arrival. The room was sparkly clean ( on the second day after house keeping -it smelled very strongly of bleach -but it was sparkling). It was very small- like a motel really, just the bed, TV, microwave on top of mini fridge- bare bones. Small bathroom with shower- updated and clean. It feels like a motel that got a bit of a face lift. Given the price - I felt it was too much for very simple accommodations. The walls are super thin and you hear the dog in the neighboring room scratching the door or people talking. Overall- very friendly management, but watch out that this is really more of a motel and has high price ticket for it .
