Located at 240 Liliuokalani Ave, the Royal Moana is a few minutes walk to world class Waikiki beaches and was remodeled with the sole purpose of providing you a classy yet economical alternative to a hotel room. Ali’i Beach Rentals manages the entire property so there are 6 identical fully furnished stylish one bedroom condos and 1 classic studio available.

The sleeping arrangements are very convenient with a queen bed in the bedroom along with a trundle day bed which has two twin sized mattresses. Leave the bedroom pocket doors open for extra space or shut them for a private bedroom.

The kitchen had everything we needed to cook weekly meals. Air conditioning was good. Perfect location to all Waikiki things and the beach. Don't miss the little store next door...its a gem! And it comes with one parking spot and believe me its hard to find a place with parking and free laundry in Waikiki at this price point. This is a great 30 day rental!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in 301 for 31 nights. Nice small condo building with 8 suites. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment. No beach mats, chairs or umbrella are in the suite. The biggest issue for us was that there was no comfortable seating. Two disparate wooden chairs both of which were very uncomfortable. I ended up using a folding beach chair which was more comfortable. A loveseat would be a welcome addition to the room.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was a good value for the money. Not luxury but certainly adequate. We did have a couple issues as in the Main TV did not work when we got there and the Air Conditioner broke on the 3 day but the management sent their maintenance Guy promptly and fixed the problems. All in all it is a convenient location about 3 blocks from the beach and we enjoyed the stay. I did feel the $115.00 cleaning fee was a little steep especially when they ask you to do the dishes and take out garbage at checkout since it is a studio apt and there is very little cleaning to do for $115

Great way to see Waikiki

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We didn't spend much time in our room with so much to do in Waikiki. We opted to leave the blinds to the main windows closed as the view of messy balconies is not impressive, but the view to the mountains is great. (we did not rent this room for the view) Make sure to bring shampoo, soap, conditioner and all foods that you will need if you plan on cooking. There was some salt and pepper. The location is great for buses, beach and walking. Bring some dvds if you plan to be in early in the evening. If you have issues with stairs or carrying luggage this is not for you. If you read that the unit has boogie boards, chairs, beach umbrellas and snorkel gear this is true, but once you get to the unit you learn there is a fee to use these items.

Found this location via internet searches, contacted many other locations, this site had the best customer service, user friendly booking service, honest advertising, clean and well-maintained, and even allowed a relative of mine to visit and check the place out! It is a diamond in the rough not too far from Diamond Head. On the Eastern side of Waikiki- you are away from most of the hustle and bustle and crowds. Short walk to the not so crowded side of Waikiki Beaches, Kapiolani Park, Zoo, Ala Wai Canal, yet close enough you can catch the trolley, bus, or walk to the Heart of Waikiki, Ala Moana shopping, etc.. Condo interior was great, stylish, roomy- full kitchen helped us feed 3 year old at odd hours and times, and saved money and waistlines from constant restaurant food! Futon in the closet worked well for extra toddler sleeping and sitting around to watch tv. Hidden doors allowed the adults some privacy by separating the bedroom from the kitchen area. Well stocked with beach and bath towels and rentable other beach stuff on request. Manager came to fix broken remote control quickly- not that you want to stay in doors to watch tv, DVD/CD or VHS a lot in Hawaii. Parking space and internet access was a definite plus! Only drawback- we live where it is quiet at night and are used to that. After 9 p.m. or so the noise from the streets of Waikiki- buses, taxis, people, starts to calm down. We didn't use the A\C, which would have masked the noise if we wanted. We tired our selves out most days sight seeing, visiting, shopping, swimming, etc. Must use stairs for the upper levels. We'll go back, and I do recommend this location to others.

We were not impressed with the beds. The trundle didn't raise, but we really didn't need it. The power broom didn't work for me. I never tried the vacuum. We were mostly disappointed because there was no beach furniture as advertised, and no comfortable place to sit inside. The kitchen had everything we needed for light meals. The staff was polite and responsive. It served our needs for the price because we were staying a long time. The location was good, close to the beach, the zoo and the aquarium and bus stops.

All my issues were promptly dealt with. Nice to have a free parking space in Waikiki. The laundry facility is used all day by management but from 5 to 10pm is free for the tenants use. Lots of road noise even at night. All in all a clean,comfortable decently priced condo on a busy road only 4 blocks from the beach.

Reviewer Comments: The place was super dirty we had to wash the floors ourselves because they were black it’s like they haven’t been washed at all only swept. The countertops had sand on them. I stayed at this condos many times and this is the worst it’s been. Drive didn’t work had to contact them twice to do something about it. And at night we had 2 roaches on separate occasions interesting how when we didn’t leave the doors opened and we stayed on the 3rd floor. After this time I don’t think I will be staying there anymore

Beautiful Location

We had a fantastic time at this property for our wedding! Less than a 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach and local restaurants. The apartment was very clean, and bright which we loved. There's no elevator, so you will have to carry the luggage upstairs. Great management, answered questions promptly.

Eh... pics are not accurate

The location was good, place was pretty well stocked, but the condo itself is in need of many repairs. Nothing that really inhibited our stay, but broken outlets, broken and missing tiles on the baseboards, missing plug cover... things that should be replaced or fixed before guests arrive. There was plenty of space in the condo, but the laundry facilities were being worked on and were unavailable. Photos depict a bright, cheery space, but it didn’t look like that. No carpet, no bright blankets, etc...

Great place to stay, very close to the beach and the bathroom is Huge.

I would highly recommend this location, it is very spacious and comfortable. One of the highlights of this location is the bed VERY comfy, the best bed I’ve ever had in a rental location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice place to rest. nice to have a parking space. Short walk to the beach and to shops downtown. My only grips are the laundry was not working while we were there so if that's something you need I would call ahead. Its a nice place for adults or older children. One of the outlets close to the floor is missing its cover so I would not recommend the place for people with small children. It is up three flights of stairs so keep that in mind while you are packing. There is only one air conditioner in the dinning room so its a little difficult to keep the bedroom cool. All in all Hawaii is about getting out and exploring and the lower price on this accommodation allowed us to do that.
