Wonderful house on a small lake. The family loved the kayaks and paddle boat. All the beds were comfortable and the house was very well equipped. The ping pong table in the garage was also a huge hit.
Very awesome property with great view. Would definitely stay again. Was pleasantly surprised that we could use the pool in the community!

Cute home in a very quiet neighborhood
Nice home! Comfy beds, spacious house with 2 dining areas and 2 living rooms. Loved the backyard with the deer roaming thru every day. Well stocked kitchen and enjoyed the ping pong table on the garage. The kayaks and pedal boat were a hit.
This house is wonderful, and the location is beautiful. If you want to get away from city life, this is a perfect place to go.
I hope to return again in the future.

Washington getaway
House was clean and cozy. Would come back. Loved the outdoor patio with the friendly deers.
This quiet lakefront house is exactly as advertised. The home is clean, spacious, and comfortable with everything you need. Entertainment options include kayaks, a ping pong table, board games, and a family of friendly deer who visit the yard twice a day. (Really.) Our family loved this house and will try to stay here for our annual trip to visit family.
Very clean and spacious house with everything you need and beautiful wildlife. We also had to extend our stay another night due to a hurricane and the owner was very understanding and accommodating.
This VRBO not only has everything you need, it’s charming and magical. Being able to wake up to deer, birds, rabbits and other wildlife was magic. The home is well stocked, clean, and cozy. We stay in a lot of VRBO’s and this by far is ranked as one of the best we’ve stayed at. Thank you for such great memories!
Every year myself and two of my best friends meet halfway between our homes for a weekend to ourselves away from our children. This place was perfect! We enjoyed watching the wildlife. We tooled around Olympia l; shopping and dining. We enjoyed watching movies. Check-in and check out were both easy and smooth.
Perfect get away from the hustle and bustle. Everything you need is provided, comfortable beds, thick towels, well supplied kitchen, and the location on the lake with the proximity to wildlife and kayaking, cannot be beat! You just need to bring your personal items and food if you are good to go. We hope to come back again!

Peaceful retreat!
The five of us had a wonderful experience! The house was clean and the layout was great for family interaction as well as for taking breaks from each other. The kitchen was well appointed, providing everything we needed to cook a variety of meals and desserts. We especially enjoyed the sunrise and sunset deer patrol through the backyard and our gorgeous view of the pond. We would definitely come back!
So calm and peaceful Beautiful home with plenty of room for the two of us We were visited each morning by the community deer while we sat on the deck eating breakfast Nice to end the day of hiking by the fire pit
The house was awesome with plenty of room inside and all cooking utensils were provided. The large back deck and lawn area leading up to the pond were very nice with deer, birds and rabbits grazing in the grass. The only disappointment were the numerous lily pads close to the shoreline that made it difficult to swim. However we were able to use the provided Kayaks to navigate the pond. Our family really enjoyed our time.
This house is located in a very private neighborhood. It was very well equipped with lots of amenities and special touches, everything one could need and more -- games, toddler toys, deer food, fully equipped kitchen etc. etc. There were several sitting areas inside and out, including outside near the lake with a dock and kayaks incl life vests. Deer visited regularly.
Very quiet and comfortable. We'd come back in an instant, and would recommend it to anyone with a larger group coming to the Olympia area.

Always good
This was our second stay at this lovely home. The setting is unbelievably tranquil, the house is comfortable and well-equipped. We don't go to this location for the weather. In spring it can be quite rainy, as it was during our recent stay. We are a senior couple and go for the peace and the comfort, both of which are there in abundance. Despite the away-from-it-all location, shops and restaurants are only 15 minutes away, and not much longer to downtown Olympia. Highly recommended!
We loved the location! The lake community was quiet and amazed our 3 year old son. He'd sit and observe all the wildlife, the ducks on the lake, the robins, jays, squirrels, frogs, and deer. He loved feeding the deer from the feed supply the manager provided. He also loved the blocks and the children's books provided. We really appreciated the thought that went into making this property fun for the family. At night, we enjoyed the fire pit and sitting out on the back porch. In the warmer afternoons, we enjoyed a little time on the dock. We actually would have loved to spend even more time at the property, playing games, ping-pong in the garage, or doing a puzzle, but had other family obligations. Would definitely come back.

Enjoyable yard and comfortable house
We enjoyed our stay!
PROS: Baby and family friendly. Well supplied. Owner was responsive to our needs. Beautiful setting. Comfortable beds. Some friendly deer stop by and the pond has some wildlife activity. A nice driving distance from the military base if you are visiting family like we were.
CONS: House has an odor to it. While not overwhelming, it was lingering.
Neighbor a few houses over came over toting his dog and two beers to tell us the speed limit is 5 in the neighborhood and stared at us every time we drove by. It was an unpleasant encounter and we felt apprehensive driving in and out of the neighborhood during our stay.
While not constant, dogs can be heard barking during day and night.

Response from VrboOwner on 15 June 2023
Steve, we’re so glad you enjoyed this beautiful family-friendly home, but we’re sorry other aspects fell short of expectations. After sending your feedback to the owner, we’d like to share the following:
-Our home is professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival so there should not have been any bad odors in the home. That being said, we have addressed the odor problem with our housekeeper and we have plans to replace the carpet in September, along with new paint throughout the house
-We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors like the neighbors are simply out of our control. We want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're so sorry to hear that this encounter disrupted your experience
Please know that our guests are our top priority, and we want everyone who stays with us to have a relaxed, fun, and enjoyable stay in beautiful Olympia!
The location was lovely and serene. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We would definitely return.

Home away from home!
This lake house is definitely my happy place to be. I’ve stayed there twice and will be making it my annual place to stay. The atmosphere is peaceful and calming . The house is clean and properly maintained and has all the amenities that you for your comfort. You definitely won’t regret your stay. To sum it up, it’s a perfect home away from home.
The home was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of wildlife in the area; deer and fawns coming right into the yard. There were lots of interesting birds too at the water. Very nice place to stay.
Beautiful location in a quiet neighborhood. We booked to use it as a home base for our travels around WA. Out in a country like setting, expect that you can't just pop down the road for gas or milk. However, the home was comfortable, clean and had everything you need for a great stay. We were greeted by a doe and her fawn about 10 mins after we arrived and found the deer corn in the laundry to feed them. My kids enjoyed paddling around the pond and we all slept great. Plenty of room for a family of 4.
The house was clean and spacious. The backyard was serene and we loved watching the ducks and cranes!
