Chic Chalet Heritage

Summary:

Bright contemporary mountainside cottage with stunning views. Peaceful site in harmony with nature in the heart of the Laurentians. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry room, a modern kitchen and a living room with gas fireplace and sofa bed. Easy access to the 5 ski centers of the region as well as all other Laurentian activities.

Intimacy, relaxation and serenity assured after a thrilling day of outdoor activities.

Guest Access:

Possibility of 3 parking spaces. Street parking is not permitted. Note there is a slope in the parking lot and that good winter tires are required.



The Neighborhood:

Located 15 minutes from St-Sauveur and Morin Heights. You will find all kinds of activities, restaurants, shops and art galleries, you will have a multitude of choices to chose from. At 10 minutes from the village of Sainte-Adèle where you will find a grocery store, bakery etc.



The cottage is located in a wooded area overlooking the lake across the street, it is protected as a wetland. Note that the lake is not recognized as swimmable because it is too muddy on the shores and too much algae grows in the deeper areas. On the other hand, it’s very pleasant to contemplate because it is known for its plant, and aquatic fauna. You can go for a swim at Jean-Guy Caron municipal Beach at Lac Rond in Sainte-Adèle, just 10 minutes drive!



Enjoying some hikes in summer or in winter at Mont Loup-Garou Park or by the Doncaster River. It Is one of the best places for hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing!

We had an incredible weekend getaway at this beautiful property. The surroundings offered truly breathtaking views and a sense of peaceful solitude that made the stay feel wonderfully private and romantic. The space itself was spotless on arrival—exceptionally clean—and every space felt cozy, well equipped, and welcoming. It truly had that rare quality of instantly feeling like home. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing escape, and we honestly wished we could have reserved a few extra days. We’d love to come back and experience this place in every season because it’s the kind of spot that would be stunning year‑round. We would rebook in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this stay highly enough.

Fireplace was great. The beds were extremely comfortable. We had everything we needed and it was really nice. We just had a lot of trouble with the front door. The code often didn't work. Otherwise it was excellent. The host responded quickly by email.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the chalet. Our timing was perfect with the fall colours. The chalet is very modern and comfortable. The area has tons to offer along with many great restaurants. Would highly recommend.

A Perfect Retreat

It’s the perfect location if you want to get away from it all. Like a treehouse nestled amongst huge foliage with a view to the marsh below. The natural light from the windows all around bathes the main salon and kitchen. The wrap around deck is perfect for enjoying the views.

A bit of constructive criticism:The keypad door lock needs to be replaced; it's impossible to open the door with it. Good thing there was a keybox available.There was no mention of Wi-Fi or password available. After contacting VRBO, the password was made available. I suggest a sign with the network name and password be displayed. The TV had no live shows available, only thing available was day old news and game show reruns. Good thing we could access our Netflix subscription. The cottage was clean but not spotless.

Nice and clean inside. Yard is a mess Control for the fireplace is broken. Outside of the house has been taken over by spiders and in serious need of power washing. Don’t count on the beautiful picture of the outdoor covered dining space as it is not there at all like the picture.

This cool house was like a treehouse in nature. Very quiet and peaceful. Good place to relax after a long hike. We hiked close by at Doncaster Park, at Val David Regional Park, and spent a wonderful day at Mount Tremblant. Management company was responsive to our questions. Nous recherchions un endroit calme et paisible en ce début d'automne et c'est exactement ce que nous avons trouvé. La vue était tout simplement magnifique. L'endroit est propre, bien équipé et tout à fait comme décrit dans l'annonce. Well equipped, clean, comfortable beds, but for the price we paid we would have appreciated some updated patio furniture and a newer BBQ. Everything worked well and good attention to detail inside. Bathroom looks newly renovated so big bonus there. Recommend stay.

Brilliant Staycation close to Montreal

Well, gotta say, this one was a favourite. Notable: *located close enough to civilization (St. Sauver) for any comforts needed, but isolated enough to feel immersed nature. *the place is clean, the sheets and towels are clean, and the kitchen is fully equipped. *the balcony wraps around the unit providing amazing views, especially for morning coffee. *the big windows allow natural light to flood the chalet. *Check-in and check-out could not be easier. We would definitely return, and enthusiastically recommend this property (and any others managed by this group).
