The Penthouse Suite is a large single bedroom with en-suite and an ocean views. It has a deluxe King bed that can, on request, be split into two long single beds. It also has a high quality sofa bed to sleep an additional adult or child. It's decor , design and amenities are 4 star standard and it has an official 4 star rating. It has smart tv and wifi, internal dining table and mini bar. Guests staying in this Suite can have access to other guesthouse amenities such as sunroom and outdoor bbq. We are also officially pet friendly for dogs with large enclosed back yard and a small kennel. We are just 3 minutes from the local beaches - Penguin, Johnson Beach and Preservation Beach. We have two IGA shops, 4 cafes, a bank, pharmacy, butcher, Visitor Centre, petrol service station and many other shops and services. Also just 15 minutes from bigger town centres like Burnie , Ulverstone and Devonport.

Perfect Penguin Tassie stay

Beautiful property, clean, easy stroll to town cafe and restaurants. Look forward to next visit when warmer so can take a dip in the ocean. Property owner Ting assisted all our needs and our doggie Freyja had the best of times. The north western area of Tassie is stunning. All amenities covered and felt safe and secure .

Practically Perfect in Every Way

On arrival at the Madsen Guesthouse, I was greeted with warmth by the owner, Ting. She helped me with my luggage and showed me to my room. Upon entry, I was welcomed with a stunning view of the ocean. The room itself was immaculately clean and beautifully designed. Everything I needed was there, including the smallest of things. I was so comfortable and felt very blessed to be staying in such high-class accommodation. I could not fault a thing. Just stunning. Thank you!

Comfortable Stay

As a couple with 2 dogs and a week stay it would gave been difficult if others had been staying there. Owners were gracious enough to let us use their fridge and kitchen. We were expecting kitchenette in our penthouse!
