The Hidden Haven is a secluded and private beach house overlooking Skeleton Bay, situated at Binalong Bay on the East Coast of Tasmania. Skeleton Bay sits within the Bay of Fires, a 29km-long stretch of beaches, clear blue seas and voted one of the Most Beautiful Beaches in the World by Lonely Planet. The Hidden Haven offers guests a peaceful bush setting with magnificent water views. Leave behind your busy life and wake to beautiful sunrises, a coffee on the deck with local birdlife or explore the bush tracks nearby.

The Hidden Haven is a stylishly renovated beach house that features a large modern kitchen/dining area, light-filled living areas, comfortable designer lounges, reverse cycle air-conditioning and sliding doors leading onto a large deck equipped with a Heston Blumenthal barbeque. At the rear of the property enjoy a private outdoor fire place, a great place for entertaining. The property has three bedrooms, the master features a king bed with private balcony and stylish ensuite. The second and third bedrooms contain queen sized beds and share a second designer bathroom.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the house, and garage, with extra off-street parking at the rear. Close by are coastal bush walking tracks that lead to Skeleton Point, Grants and Dora Point – all accessible within 5 minutes walking from the Hidden Haven.

If you are seeking a dining option please visit The Hub Seaside, which is a 10 minute walk from the Hidden Haven. Enjoy a coffee, wine or pizza overlooking Binalong Bay beach.
Take a 40 minute morning drive to St Columbia Falls and take in the rainforest and waterfall. Afterwards stop off at the Pyengana Cheese Factory and taste their award winning cheddar cheeses, or sit down and enjoy lunch in the café. Or stop off at the historic Pub in the Paddock.

We had such a wonderful stay here that we booked another week for next year. The setting amongst the trees with water views is peaceful and lovely in the morning sun. Very well appointed and the perfect place for a break for a family of three generations.

Beautiful home and so well equipped!! Binalong bay has NO shops so just be aware that you need to take all provisions with you! Great hikes just at your door step!

This is such a fabulous space and place to re-set. The private beach, the welcoming birds, the perfect walk to the excellent pizza and ice-cream at 'the hub'-- what more could one ask for! We also loved staying at home in our superiorly appointed kitchen amid some very lovely art. And the bbq that also roasts was a deck treat. And thank you Jan for your fast follow up and easy communication - we were clearly trying to stay on by leaving a bit of us behind! Hidden Hideaway Heaven!! x

Bay of relaxation and rejuvenation!

The view from the deck with a morning cup of tea or at sunset with wine is just what we needed to ease our bodies and minds. Easy check in and navigating the property. It has all the mod cons from the fully stocked kitchen to the renovated bathrooms. There are very comfortable couches and beds once you peel yourself away from the stunning view from the deck. Easy access to walking trails and local amenities. Great spot for a few days - can’t wait to come back in summer!

Break in Binalong Bay

We initially had reservations about the break in our holiday. However, we enjoyed our entire time. It is only a few minutes from the walking tracks. The house seemed to be renovated, was clean with almost new everything. The location and view is excellent as was the responsiveness of the manager.

Beautiful Binalong

This property is in a beautiful spot overlooking the ocean. Close to St Helens a 15 minute drive where you can stock up at The Providore for your BBQ needs. The house has a deck with a great bbq and a very well equipped kitchen. It has super comfy beds and 2 lovely bathrooms with showers. There is a local restaurant which is very good serving woodfired pizza and fish etc, I recommend the calamari and the fish . There is so much to do in this beautiful part of Tasmania, you will be spoilt for choice, wonderful coastline and waterfalls and some great walks, not to mention the local wine and produce. You won't want to leave .

Absolutely stunning

A beautifully maintained property, everything was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Property was well positioned, out of the wind with a lovely outdoor area to relax in. As it was near the end of our trip to Tasmania we spent a good deal of time in house and cooked evening meals. The level of kitchen equipment and coking accessories was unbelievable and numerous condiments had been left to help with our meals. Our best accommodation in Tasmania.

From the start to the finish everything about booking, paying staying and leaving this property was such an ease. The property owners really thought of everything with all the condiments you would ever need and the beds were also really comfortable. We couldn't have wanted for more.
