Spend an unforgettable vacation in the most beautiful region of Germany. Our inviting apartment is located directly on the Hintersee and was completely renovated in 2008. The apartment with sophisticated ambience has a separate, exclusively equipped asmo kitchen with dining area for 4 people. The living room is flooded with sun with an adjacent south-facing 18 sqm sun terrace. From here you have a fantastic view of the lake with the third highest mountain in Germany behind it - the Hochkalter with its Blue Ice Glacier. To the side of the living room is the 6 sqm terrace, where you can enjoy the sunrise. The living rooms are equipped with high-quality parquet floors and furniture in an exclusive country house style. A garage parking space is also available. Separate side entrance at the house.

Gastronomy :: Restaurants with beer gardens and children's playgrounds and cafes are located in the immediate vicinity along the Hintersee. Other restaurants are located in and around Ramsau. Breweries are available in Berchtesgaden as well as in Salzburg.

Culture :: The world-famous Salzburg Festival, which takes place several times a year, is a highlight of every culture lover.

Sightseeing :: Visit the salt mines in Berchtesgaden, the Obersalzberg, the Königsee with St. Bartholomä, the majestic Watzmann, the Chiemsee or the spa town of Bad Reichenhall. The lakes in neighboring Austria, such as B. the Mondsee or Wolfgangsee, can be reached by car within an hour.

From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the property. In fact, we could not have picked a more perfect location. The house had everything we needed, which made our six-day stay truly memorable. The facilities were excellent, the view from the balcony truly stunning. Even the bad weather for the first couple of days couldn't spoil things, as the view of the mountains across the lake was something Caspar David Friedrich could have drawn inspiration from! The rooms were spotless and wonderfully decorated, and we really enjoyed the artistic touches.The garage for the car was perfect too. As well as the lake Hintersee where you could hire a rowing boat or pedalo (Trettboot), the hiking routes were wonderful, and once the weather cleared we hiked both around the lake (doable in just over an hour at a leisurely pace) and to the nearby town of Ramsau which has lots of great spots for photography as well as a selection of great beer gardens. The larger town of Berchtesgaden is also a short drive away, which was great for buying grocery supplies. Communication with the host Frau Kauffeld was great, and she was always quick to reply to any questions we had, and Frau El-Ahl who managed the handover of the keys were super friendly and helpful. We picked up the key to the house from her flat in nearly Bad Reichenhall, which was on the way. We will definitely be back - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Toller Ort

Die Wohnung und ihre Lage ist traumhaft! Super ausgestattet, v a der Balkon mit Blick auf den See ist toll. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen! Es gibt 2 Gästekarten dazu, mit denen man zB Parkermäßigung erhält. Kommunikation mit Vermieter funktionierte auch sehr gut.

Traumhafter Ausblick auf der Hintersee

In Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und befindet sich in guter Lage. Die Seeklause ist gleich nebenan und viele Wandergebiete sind zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Ausruhen kann man sich auf der wunderschönen Terrasse. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden bestimmt nochmal wiederkommen.

Schöne Wohnung in toller Lage, inkl. schwieriger Kommunikation und Nachbarn

Wir waren für eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung. Diese ist direkt am Hintersee gelegen. Der Hintersee ist ein wenig touristisch, was aufgrund der Schönheit der Kulisse und der vielfältigen Wandermöglichkeiten aber auch nicht verwunderlich ist. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und die meisten Dinge machen einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Das Highlight der Wohnung ist der Balkon mit der beeindruckenden Sicht auf den Hintersee und die umliegenden Berge. Es wäre natürlich schön, wenn es neben Tisch und Stühlen gemütlichere Sitzmöglichkeiten geben würde. Leider wird das Bergidyll, ein wenig durch den direkten Nachbarn gestört. Hier läuft der Fernseher mit offener Balkontür täglich ab 20:00 Uhr auf maximaler Lautstärke. Check in und Check out gestaltet sich leider ein wenig schwierig, da der Schlüssel persönlich in einem Nachbarort abgeholt und abgegeben werden muss. Die Schlüsselabgabe muss durch den Gast selber koordiniert werden. Diesbzgl. sind die Vermieter leider sehr unflexibel. Es ist natürlich immer störend, wenn hierdurch Urlaubszeit verloren geht. Dabei vergreifen sich die Vermieter bei der Kommunikation leider häufig im Ton. So werden einem bereits bei dem versehentlichen Herunterfallen einer Müslischüssel kriminelle Absichten unterstellt. Dadurch bleibt ein fader Beigeschmackt. Wer sich mit Vermieter und Nachbarn (abgesehen von dem direkten Nachbarn sind alle sehr nett) arrangieren kann, findet hier jedoch ein schönes Feriendomizil.
