Far-I Guesthouse Modern studio apartment in rural Jamaica

If you are interested in having an authentic Jamaican experience, we would love to welcome you to a modern studio apartment situated in rural community.

The property is conveniently located between the tourist capital (Montego bay) and the business capital of Jamaica (Kingston). It is 48 Km from Ochio Rios and 38 Km from Kingston. Both of these towns are easily accessible from the new highway with a travel time of approximately 30 minutes in either direction.

The area is peaceful with many orange and banana farms, which adds to the tranquilty of the area. The property itself is littered with fruit trees and flowers, and is a 10-15 minutes walk (5 mins drive) from the cooling Rio Cobre river, which is ideal for a refreshing swim on a warm day.

Guests have their own entrance to the studio apartment and all the connecting outdoor spaces.The apartment is open plan, with a fully equipped kitchen and all the modern appliances. There is a large patio and a smaller balcony area, both of which only the guests to the apartment has access. The apartment itself, is on the first floor of an existing family house. There is a private gate to access the property, and parking is avaliable for one car.

There is always someone on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Interaction with guests. Your stay may be tailored according to your needs. We will walk through the studio with you on your arrival, and show you around the property. If you have any questions, and/or requests throughout your stay, we will try our best to accomodate you.

Getting around. The closest towns are Bog Walk (ideal for light food shopping, cash machine, taxis and other forms ofpublic transportation) while Linstead (has banking facilities, hospitals, larger transport centre and a food/clothing market).
