Welcome to our charming 4-bedroom cottage Booangun, ideally situated in a central location. This delightful retreat offers a range of amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. With off-street parking available, you can easily explore the surrounding area at your leisure.

As you step onto the large deck, you'll be greeted by an inviting outdoor setting, perfect for relaxing and taking in the serene surroundings. And for those who appreciate the art of grilling, a convenient gas BBQ is at your disposal, allowing you to savor delicious meals in the open air.

Our cottage boasts four bedrooms. Among them, you'll find two queen-sized beds, one double bed, and three single beds, ensuring ample space for everyone in your group.

Practical amenities are also included for your convenience. A front loader washing machine is available in the downstairs laundry area, allowing you to keep your clothes fresh throughout your stay. The well-equipped kitchen features a microwave, electric oven/stove, and all the essential tools for preparing meals.

The bathroom is equipped with a refreshing shower, providing a revitalizing start or end to your day. We understand the importance of a good night's sleep, which is why linen is supplied, and the beds are made for your arrival.

Please note that we have a no-pets policy, ensuring a peaceful and allergy-free environment for all guests.

Perfect old Straddie home

The shack

Our stay was overall beautiful. House is older but lovely. There is 2 toilets and one shower. The beds are old maid for us. The only thing i have to say, is there was a few dust webs in all the rooms.they need to be removed.bit its only miner. Everything you need is in walking distance You can start the Gore walk from the house its super lovely

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a simple and very well located house. Whilst not large, the kitchen is functional, the fridge is adequate and there are plenty of utensils and crockery.The rental price was very reasonable, so this should temper my following comments.We picked a bad week weatherwise, as there was a heatwave during the visit. The house didn't catch much of the little breeze that was around. As there were no ceiling fans in the living areas or the deck, we found it quite hot. There are no insect screens, and fans in these areas would have helped to keep the bugs at bay a little as well as cooling us off.The agents were professional and helpful (as usual) and supplied a pedestal fan, which helped a little, and also arranged for an electrician to repair our bedroom ceiling fan, which was unfortunately faulty when we arrived (as were the fans in all four bedrooms).It was only a very short walk to Cylinder beach in one direction, and Pt Lookout in the other.We'd recommend the house to others looking for something functional in a good location without breaking the bank.

Reviewer Comments: Cleaners were late cleaning therefore check-in was 4 pm; property managers could have offered a similar late check out as a gesture of good faith. House could really do with a clothes dryer as it's very hard to dry clothes, towels etc with the line under the house when it's wet. A couple of maintenance issues needed to be addressed: leaking pipe in the bathroom; tap in kitchen leaking and DVD player didn't have a remote; some of the mattresses seem quite hard. Otherwise love this place and it's in a great location.

Nice and homey

I went there with 5 other friends and I gotta say it was a very nice house and a very nice location to stay in. Cylinder beach and the supermarket were both just a walk away from the house and we had one of the most memorable holidays to date. I must say though while the whole experience was fabulous the dishes and utensils that came with the house were slightly dirty when we arrived. Furthermore, throughout the stay there were numerous amounts of cockroach encounters which I didn't like however its not the owners fault. There was also very good communication with the owner and they were very helpful with the whole booking process and any questions I had. Overall I'd say yeah. This is a good property to stay in. I had a baller time there at booangun.

Great house. A little pricey for what it was. We had fun. Could do with comfortable lounges fly screens and a dryer. The little extras were thoughtful like body boards fishing rods books games etc..

Lovely house.

We stayed for 10 days and the house is great. Really easy place to relax. It would be perfect if there were some new pillows. The ones currently there are mouldy and stained. A vacuum cleaner and a better heater would be handy. Unfortunately, while we were there it snowed in Queensland! We were quite cold in the house.
